I was?? watching the DVD box set and saw the storm again where Ang and Gyatso are playing Pai sho.
and we all know Iroh likes to partake in a game or two, if Iroh does indeed teach Ang fire bending, I can imagine quite a few games in the near future between the two.
from the previous episode I saw that Ang was pretty good, Gyatso had to playfully cheat?? a little.
should be interesting

yeah whats cool is that to Iroh this is ancient game and custom.
but when ang was playing pai sho it was like the Xbox 360 back then. ha ha

How about this... Iroh bets all his tea recipes. Aang bets his staff and hat. If Aang wins, he gets the recipes AND Iroh must teach him firebending. But if Iroh wins, he gets Aang's staff and hat and Aang gets stuck in a room.... a room with a MOOSE! |

I dont Know if the white lotus was created after the war, was there a reference given?

but the real White Lotus Society was a Triad organization, Cult Status.?? this had members underground as well as in the government, but was not a government agency.?? and was around before the Ming dynasty and more than likely is alive today.
so I dont know maybe Gyatso could have been WL clan he certainly thought differently than most and has alot of the same personality as Iroh.
Pai Sho could have been the calling card, Ming rebels used the chinese opera as front/calling card.
