    Has anyone noticed that all the nations have other forms of bending..except??the Air nomads.

    Water: ice, healing, bending water in plants...

    Earth: sandbending, coal...

    Fire: lightening, blue fire + they use machines

    Air : ?

    I think someone brought this up before. Airbenders should be able to bend other natural gasses. That's about all I can come up with.

    i supose so that would give them very powerful weapons... choking or poisoning whole villages- the fire nation wouldnt have a chance. but so far there hasn't been any deadly gasses in avatar world.

    are there any other bending abilities?

    Well if you think about it, a really powerful air bender with great control can adapt his techniques to do 'bend' other things.

    I wouldn't call ice or sand "different".?? Ice is just water in a different form of matter.?? Sand is still earth. Lightning, meh, it is extremely close to fire, so...

    sandbending is just crushed up rock, so that's not an add on ability. neither is coal. and ice isn't either for water. blue fire is just a hotter form of regular fire so there's really nothing there either except for lightning.

    yes but it shows that they can use these different forms of bending to create better attacks... sandstorm,ice daggers... even gassing people, heck you could even bend a fart lol wouldnt that be funny

    that would be true like in the episode when aang uses the vents to bend a rock to get katara into the prison.

    but it wouldnt be as effective

    well see "AIR" isn't really and element at all ..OXEGEN is ...Air is made of H2o H2 and O2 it think so maybe aang can bend all those true elements

    For Earth the special ability I think should be to bend plants/wood/nature, like Cornelia in W.I.T.C.H. I have no idea for Air, though.
