Any particular reason why we singled out these two? Or are we still to afraid to throw FMA into the mix? ??

    It goes something like this:

    Action: Naruto

    Storyline: Naruto

    Characters: Naruto

    Everything else: Avatar

one piece flat out??sux, so I didn't even add it to the equation.

Hmmm... well, I like the fights more in Avatar, mostly because they tend to happen in real time -- there's no fight that?? supposedly lasts 15 minitues, yet drags on for three, even four episodes. That, plus there's no people on the sidelines, comminting on the charecter's every move, which can get very annoying over time.

I have to say that both One Piece and Natruto are more developd then Avatar, simply because both series have been around for much longer than Avatar has - there has been more time for the respective series to develop.

And for the recored, I like the Naruto dub - the characeters all sound appriate, and the editing is minimal. And for all those who complain that dubbed Naruto's voice sounds whiny, I seen the series subbed, and I gotta say, his voce sounded nearly EXACTLY the same. It's this kind of thing that makes me think that the magority of complaints aginst Naruto fall under the vein of It's Not The Original, And Therefore it Sucks.

And by the way, One Piece is an excellent series, and if 4kids hadn't butchered the Anime, it would easily have been as popular as these other shows.

Naruto and Avatar are two really different shows. ??I???ve seen every episode of both and Avatar is more about plot and characters, Naruto is more about action.

??In Naruto the action moves the plot. While in Avatar the plot moves the action. Often times in Naruto you will get fight scenes between minor characters that span three episodes (This is pretty much all of the Rescue Sasuke arc until the final fight). Also most of the dialog in these fights is about battle strategies and explaining exactly what their attack did. ??Normally throughout the fight the character goes through some significant change, because of the fight (Rock Lee vs. Garraa, Naruto vs. Neji, ect.) Also in the middle of fights we will get flashbacks where we learn more about the character.

Avatar isn???t like that at all. It spends most its time on developing the characters and moving its plot with zero fighting. Then almost every episode it will have a five to ten minute fight scene where it is nothing but fighting. ??There is almost no talking, no long explanation of every silly move. Just really awesome and fluid fight scenes.

Personally I like Avatars style better. You get to know the characters better. Even though Avatar only has one-fifth the amount of episodes as Naruto, I understand the main characters just as much. I also find the action in Avatar much more enjoyable because it isn???t being interrupted every few minutes.

But really its up to you which style you prefer.

That about sums it up doesn't it? Well he actually didn't mention one piece but I wouldn't regard since I still don't get why exactly those two shows were picked. Well maybe Naruto..????

well i voted all to avatar for these reasons: The plot in avatar is reasonabe. The story is well laid out there is a tense feeling of wanting to know whats going to happen next in like every 5 minutes or so. The drama is very intruiging and can be related to real life easily and effectively. The characters move on and flourish and is affected by the thing happening around them. The action animation is fluid and real-time as in a fight you have no chance of explaining or talking(un less your REALY good). I like also the other shows bu the summary is avatar and this 1 episode of avatar = 5 episodes of others very concise meaningful and not to mention enjoyable.

i can't stand One Piece(all cuz of the terrible dub), but Naruto is a great show too...when Naruto has action its action is almost DBZ level...but when they aren't fighting there isn't any real drama...maybe a story but the drama is all in fighting(Will Rock Lee somehow turn it around n beat Gaara?) but in Avatar, you're held with drama cuz of the story i mean banished prince looking to reclaim his honor and surpass his prodigy of a sister...for me its 1. Avatar 2. Naruto and One Piece is so far down on the list is underground...

Read the One Piece manga, as it so far stays true to the original version. Lately, Vis has done some heavy editing for language, i.e. no swear words at all, but it does NO editing for content. I repeat, read the execellent manga, avoid the horrible dub.??

What if you HATE THE ONE PIECE DUB (I'm so-so on the manga), but you ABSOLUTELY LOVE Naruto? I'm singling out the One Piece aspect on my vote, thank you.
On that line, Naruto has had years to develop; Avatar has had just over one, I believe. It's mature for Nick, but my vote for story lines, drama (Orochimaru stuff, anyone?) and acution has got to go to Naruto, guys. Sorry.

The english dubbed version of Naruto completely SUCKS. So Avatar definetely is better than it.

The japanese version is almost as good as avatar, though.

(And no, I'm not asian, I'm African American, so thats not why I think the english version is lame)

I don't think Lee will ever fight gaara, because Gaara saves his life later on.

What did you mean by "Like that means anything"?

And, Gaara's story is too complicated to tell you, so I suggest typing his name on wikipedia, it pretty much tells you his life story. Here is my simplied version of Gaara's description: Gaara = Total Hottie
