If episode 19 is called The Guru, and episode 20 title hasn't been released...if it was an hour finale, wouldn't it be The Guru part 1 and 2??? Is there going to be a half hour finale this time? |
Guys just because the second haft hasn't been updated doesn't mean...okay let's put it this way the season one finale originally was this
1.19 The Water Tribe
1.20 The Seige
But they were re confirmed as "Seige of the North" so quit worring.

The rest of the season will probably be in Ba Sing Se, its the most time they've spent in one place in the whole series. They were only at the North Pole for 3 episodes. Does the Drill count though, they werent really in the city, just defending it P.S. I dont think they got any thanks for saving Ba Sing Se from the Fire Nation's trump card |
Yes, but they had reached their destination, so IMO, it counts.
I don't know about everyone else, but I think of all the last 3 episodes of Season 1 as one story/saga, and most of the movie makers on youtube who make trailers for "Siege of the North" use eps 18-20, even though only 19 and 20 were officially the two-parter. Avatar isn't structured like other Nick cartoons; its structured more like authentic anime: one continuous story told in segments, every episode a cliff hanger to some degree. Regardless of whether or not the Season 2 finale officially stretches across 1 or 2 episodes, Season 2 is, when you think about it, one 20-episode long arc, just like Season 1.
So I don't think it matters what they title the last episode or two of Season 2; it's all part of the larger story.??Avatar isn't??in the pattern of most American cartoons where plots are contained within episodes.
