I don't know I think Toph is pretty much done and?? served her?? point or story line( at least for now) ??at this point in the game. They needed her to join to teach aang how to earth bend and now he no longer needs her he needs a firebender. They don't don't have enough time to go back to her hometown and get her with the comet and solar eclispe coming. I think they did the whole letter thing ??on purpose just to?? have an excuss to get?? her out of the picture. I mean ??the whole letter thing?? and how she reacted to it was out of her character to me. I mean the whole reason she ran away in the first place was because her parents didn't understand her not meation the fact that after her dad saw her earth bend he freaked out and set new rules in their house hold. why would they write or send a letter not to meation how would they know she was there in the first place? Did I miss something about the whole letter thing?

Zuko could go any where at this point. he could try to fight along side them or he could live a life with her uncle.?? Who to say that he just wouldn't try to find his own destiny. I still haven't a clue about him at this point in the game.

Sokka leaving is a good thing. Had he been the right age when his tribe left for war then would have been trained like a warrior. I think it personaly means that he will not only be?? with his father, but he will also learn to fight( being a trained warrior) and plan?? the attack on the firenation with his dad by his side. Sokka will be able to help and be of better use to the gaang. Sokka has already proved that he can come up with a plan before.?? It will work out for him. I for some reason do find it odd that he didn't stop for two seconds to say goodbye(hello) to Suki when it was clear ??that he had some type of feelings for her.

I am not sure what it holds for katara but I know that?? the writers wanted her to stay because?? she seems like the one that is most likely to bond with zuko. She has already?? tried to help Zuko by trying to heal his uncle's wounds.?? Who is to say that when they exchange stories that Katara doesn't help Zuko find his mother?? or lead him to the right path to finding her. Katara knows what it is like to not have a mom in her life and lose her young. Even if they have not gotten along in the path I think she would help him just like she tried to help the small town that happend to be firenation from over flowing with water(a dame so to speak)

Toph left because her parents didn't understand her. She still loves them. I think she would be susceptible to naivete if it means her parents will finally understand her.

Zuko would not teach Aang firebending because zuko never finished his training with Uncle Iroh.

we all know that Zuko isn't the most powerful firebender in the series...but you do half to admit he has come a very long way. Other than a few more combat skills what would really be left for him to learn? Blue Fire so far seems like an Azula specific ability, lightning is something Iroh said that not everyone could do (though Zuko will still probably learn it eventually), what else can he do beyond perfect his already proficient skills?

I'm not saying he's master level like Iroh and likely Azula, but I'd say that at this point he's good enough to at least give Aang the basics, and as we all know once Aang understands the basics of what he is learning he can really take off with it

anyway, Sokka has to stay. He's both the brain and comic relief of the group. Removing him would remove in integral part of the Gaang. Zuko joining the group is almost an inevitability at this point, though I can't see Iroh following him. Toph...I really want her to stay with the group, considering how few episodes she has appeared in compared to Katara and Sokka her personality really stands out. That sarcastic and blunt humor is a great addition to the group...that and I love her blind jokes

Like I said before how would her parents know she was there in the city?

you can't just count aang as the airbender, well you can but it's off-balance because technically he's an Everything bender. If katara left, you could count aang as the water bender. I was thinking more along the lines of four people, each a different bender, plus the avatar himself.

I'm sure that Iroh will be with Zuko if they do join Aang....But I do believe that if the gaang is plaining to leave the city Iroh will stay...He will be the one to defend the city to repent for what he did and also now because the city is his home now.
