Listen up: The ratings are based on traffic generated by that guide on TV.com. If Avatar is #5 in the TV.com list on the home page, it means it had the 5th-most-clicks of any guide on the entire site. Saying as theirs thousands of shows and thousands of guides at TV.com, the fact that Avatar is #5 is saying something huge about the fan base. We have a loyal fan base who visits the site a lot when new episodes air.

Now, later today I have 80 submissions to go through. So when I get home, I'll be looking through those submissions, and won't be on the forums much That's the one bad thing about popularity, you have a million submissions No, actually, I appreciate all the submissions! Let's shoot for 100 after this week's ep!

There is no way Avatar is better than Fullmetal Alchemist. I love Avatar, but seriously Ed could find a way to defeat the entire Avatar universe! Roy Mustang invented Firebending! Winry Rockbell is way hotter than Kata - *gets dragged off by agents*

I completely and TOTALLY AGREE!! FMA is my favorite anime..scratch that, animated show of all time. The characters are much better than Avatar's, the story is multiple times greater. I say Ed at 'God Mode' (you know, when he stepped straight into that red stuff and start glowing) could DESTROY any Avatar ever. And Roy Mustang's fire alchemy is cooler than even Zuko's spinning kicking firebending (not by TOO much since Zuko is real cool) And alchemy blows away elemental martial arts anyday. It's way more unique and ingenious. And Aang can't even..*nightclubbed in the head by agent*

    Lol @ FMA vs. Avatar.

I think FMA has the edge for now, simply because it has 50 episodes and ended, and had a really kickass finale, and Avatar is still an incomplete show. I mean, Avatar S1 was good, but only the finale was brilliant, and I definitely prefer the FMA Lab 5 sequence, and the subsequent death of Maes Hughes. Then, FMA drops off a bit until end of season 3, where it just kicks arse all the way to the last ep of season 4. S2's very good, but right now, I'll take FMA.

Come back in a year, and I hope this is real interesting.

Please no more Avatar vs. FMA debates. You could do that in the Animation forum. There's already some bad blood between the two forums here.
