And I had a terrible thought: What if they don't air those episodes on Nick? I know it sounds nuts, but so does releasing a DVD with episodes you haven't aired yet. Why make a big to-do to show these episodes when people can get them freely in stores?

It's a possibility, I mean Nick is crazy. But if it said "never-before-seen episodes," then I would hope that means we will see them on television eventually, they just haven't aired yet. In order for less dedicated fans to be able to understand what's going on, they would at least have to air those episodes before the finale, but preferably also the rest of season three in order as a recap.

That's how it seems, one week straight. And probably at 5! I always forget about their stupid "week of new episodes airing at 5!" What the hell, man? Why five? Do they WANT these episodes unseen?
Meh, I hate to say that I'm going to support Nick with some of my money, but if season three boxed set comes out, I'm buying that. The first two seasons still get showed on NickToons Network, though they changed the time on me. I highly doubt we'll get repeats of Season Three.

Whenever I buy Avatar anything, in my mind, I'm supporting Bryke, not Nick. As Lisa says, "I love Bryan and Mike more than I hate Nick." Same goes for me.
I really hope they don't do that "One episode a day for a week" thing. It completely ruins it. But it's highly likely that they will do that.. *sadfaice*

To the thread: There would be riots in cities around the world if they didn't show the Avatar episodes.

I personally and I may be totally wrong here, but I personally think DOBS:2 was the last Avatar we will see air on Nickelodeon.
I think the four-part finale will go straight to DVD on July 29th just like the four-unseen episodes from the recent May 6th DVD.
I think that Nick has abandoned the animated series in favor of the live-action movies and hopefully the three hour-long animated movies, both set for 2009.
