(not to sound or quote dictators) | I'm questioning it because I don't see the point in it, and no-one thus far has given me a valid point for the "high council" or the committee itself. Dafoose wrote: | We have our committees. we have our bonds, our little organizations. We have our little rulez, and we have our plans. We have a high council and we have people with certain responsibilities. We also have members of these committees. | And why do your organizations and committees have to be a part of this board, even though if you think about it, they don't really related to Avatar or anything really. If you want to have your cool little organizations, why not do it through the blogging system? Why make a thread about it, and have it pinned, when it serves no purpose? You act like the Avatar Boards are your personal forum to do with what you please. You just keep going in cirlces, saying "we have it because we want to, and we gotta protect ourselves from trolls" or some variant of "why must you be so uptight? And my bad for wanting to follow the rules. |
OMG dude. You aren't listening. Again.
We had the disciples to keep "Peace" among the forums. It is a "peace" you fail to understand because you keep moping about the fact that there are threads here that you could be happier better off without for some reason. I'm not talking about "The moderators" keeping the peace that they keep, I'm talking about a certain kind of peace, one that can't be brought by moderators. It's a unique kind of fellowship and honor that Avatar Fans and Avatards follow. A system of wise thoughtful posting FOR THE SHOW. Not just wise and thoughtful posting in general.
And damn it, stop speculating everything I say, it bugs the crap out of people.
The same goes for the loyalist committee. It's a club. The club is designed to keep people in the AVATAR Forums. It's fun. That's why people do it. I don't think that reason is very vague. And we have an honor system in the loyalist committee too. Why don't you join one and find out for yourself? Even though I know I don't have to be in a committee or disciple ship to know WTF they're talking about or why they are there. You want to ask a question about the committees because you don't understand, that's fine. But if you want to ask questions about committee's existence and why it shouldn't be, because you think you know this or that, Because you want to "follow the rulez" or everything for that matter, then your are going to have trouble doing that.
If you came here to "Follow the rulez" and give us your "endoctrine of Discipline" then you're in the wrong place.
