    no I think he was born with them because it is kind of the sign he is an airbender and also before the war all the other airbenders had tatoos.

    The one about Sokka's master, of course he is going to learn how to water bend. He is part of the water tribe duh!! Well of course he needs a master to teach him, and like he will let his sister, so who else could to be? Well 2 people but mostly 1. Master Pacho (who taught Katara), or the most likely one, his DAD!!! DUH!!!

    This has been said many times, though not for a while, but part of Sokka's character is that he doesn't bend. Part of your logic is that he is from the Water Tribe, and thus, he can bend. Think about it. Can his dad bend? Could Princess Yue bend? Could Chief Arnook bend? No.

    The tattoo means he is a master airbender once an air nomad has fulfilled the necessary requirement the monks gives the them the tattoo. Plus we have seen airbenders with out the tatoo in flash backs.

    I hate to be the wet blanket, but the panel starting in 25 minutes doesn't mean jack spratt for us. Cuz first it has to end, then people have to get home, THEN can they write up their reviews or whatever and upload the vids. It may not be until a few hours from now at the least til we get even the first bit of info, barring someone who has a laptop with them at the panel...

    OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!

    (we're having a FQ big breakthrough moment here)

    ok so here i was watching old season two episodes, and the swamp comes on. so aang sees toph, right? AND THEN the old man whatshisname says "in the swamp we see people we've lost, people we love."

    SOOOOOO something's gonna happen to toph! like, hopefully get lost or something else and not just die...

    Not so fast, my friend. Watch that video again. When Hu(swamp guy) says "in the swamp we speople we've lost, people we loved, folks we think are gone. The swamp tells us we're still connected to them. Time is an illusion, and so is death." you see Katara's mom and Yue. But, then Aang says "What about my vision? It was someone I had never met." Hu says "You're the Avatar, you tell me." Aang thinks and says "Time is an illusion...so it's someone I will meet?" Hu nods.

    So, clearly Katara and Sokka's mom and Yue weren't put in the same context as Toph. Toph was connected to Aang, even though time hadn't placed them in the same place, just like Katara and Sokka are still connected to her mom and Yue even though death has not allowed them to be in the same place either. It doesn't mean Toph will show up then suddenly die on Aang. The swamp had a positive message, not a forboding one.

    Who watched comic-con??? i missed the first half hr and it was on for 4 hrs long.(if wuz my 1st time actually watching it, can u blame me for sounding bored?) ugh! and there was nothing mentioned about Avatar, unless it was mention in the first half hr. if so, i didn't see cause like i said, i missed the first half hr.
