oh yea, I guess it would have to hinge on that firebender we see briefly being a woman in a soldier suit. But who knows? there is still a lot about female firebenders we dont know about since Azula is the only one seen, and even then, it's hard to count her because being such a powerful female, and using the hot blue fire, doesn't really set the standard for female firebenders. So, excluding her, and avatars, which can firebend by default, there is no "normal" female firebender to firebend so far. so we don't have a good scope of warlike female clothing, much less what the traditional dress would be for a female in an agni kai.

??Also, to add on to that previous topic about the beginning of the Avatar. Roku in "the deserter" says, "I have mastered the elements a thousand times in a thousand lifetimes". This would be a very long time, suppose, give and take the short and long lifespans of avatars, it evens out to say, around 100 years, this would be 10,000 years of avatar history, meaning Omashu would have to be immensely old.

Perhaps the avatar always existed, and normal people only learned the bend one element. Another of my theories is that the first bending discipline brought on the first avatar, meaning for example: If oma and shu learned earthbending first, Shu would have been the first avatar and then sometime after, firebenders learned their skill next, then waterbenders from the moon and then airbenders from the bison, but thats maybe pushing it.??
