    there is no new avatar....cuz if aang died next would be water....katars mom is dead the creators say that if they arnt living the probably arnt going to magically return...unless of course their mom neverwas dead in teh first place but thats what they though....a new evil waterbender hmmm....i dunno who hat could be..and who is that returning villain! i need to have an avatar marathon

    is it confirmed that whats his name who was going to marry Yue died?...b/c i could see him joining th Fn side..he seems to like being in a position of power..seeing as how he talked about the perks with the cheif...now his excuse could be..perks with the Fn or Azula if he started to hit on her...if they even meet...

    i bet we will get a short on where we see how she died.....sooner of later i mean that needds to be explained...know that its been released that there is a old villain..that weve met that has a connection to sokka and Katara...im sure theirmom s death wasnt just random i mean..if their village was attacked....the only casualty seems ot have been their mom b/c everyone else seems well....the men are at war..the elders help alongthe mothers and children i mean...ya know....if their mom died when they were little dont you think sokka and katara would be nearby? they musta been young.so why arnt they dead?

    Hakoda was the chief of the village. Ancient war tactics. You don't attack the chief, you attack what's closest TO the chief. Death is quick, but pain like that lasts forever. And, as I recall, the men left for war AFTER the attack on the Southern tribe. The attack triqqered the leaving. The water tribe villian was probably one from their own tribe! Remember how Zhao was telling Iroh had hard it was to attack the Northern tribe because it was hard to find it? Well, before the attack, the southern tribe was, apparently, just like that. So it musta been difficult to find as well. The water tribe person probably betrayed the ST to FN for power and money.

    Very good insight....well all i have to pathetically add to this very intellectual conversation is that maybe the new villian has personal connections to katara and sokka's dreary past, and the water tribe.

    You know what I just noticed? EVERY season premiere starts with people on boats. Water? Katara/Sokka in a canoe. Earth? Chillin' with Paco. Or Paku. Fire? Supposedly, they're on a commandeered FN ship. Gives a new definition to 'shipping,' eh? =]

    Insightful. It was probably a man from the ST war warriors who was corrput with the idea of power. We'll probably learn more about him through flashbacks. And adam1018, WTF was with the spam!?

    There's a guy in the card game (check for name on Wikipedia) that is meant to be a villian to the gaang. He's a waterbender theif who also likes causing trouble. Im sure that the villian mention thou is the FN killer of their mother because besides the caption in the mag is a pic of a guy in FN uniform and in the newest preview (with Third eye laser guy) it shows repeatly the same FN guy with gray hair.

    Thanks. It was in a mag pic from one of the other threads, and in the cards their are alot of other characters. PLus i believe a read somewhere that they were introducing a character from the cardgame. Another thing in the mag questioned if Aang really was the last airbender, which recieved a strange comment by the creators to changing the title to "one of the last airbenders", plus it is more widely known i believe to be called Legend of Aang. This also connects to the card game because in it a young girl survived the genocide of the AB; Malu (the girl in my pic), who became the "Ghost Witch" because of her use of AB making people believe she summoned spirits and also because ppl thought AB were dead. SHe would be old by now, but her descendants could form the new Air nomads with Aang. i thought there was going to be 4th season called Air in which they defeated ozai but also reformed the A.N. with Aang getting crush on one of the descendants.
