Alright, I have the greatest speculation ever! and it has a happy ending for zutara shippers, just because I think it has a high possibility in the show. Oh and my speculation is based on my old speculation that Zuko and Iroh are just pretending.

The Awakening: Starts out with with a scene of some more "I feel like I betrayed Uncle" talk btwn Zuko and Azula, and Azula giving Zuko the old pro FN pep talk and at the end gets a close up on a guilt ridden face of Zuko (Azula catches this face and decides to stalk Zuko to make sure he doesn't do anything irrational). Then it flashes to a late night scene of the some FN soldiers (or DyLee) escorting Iroh to a FN ship that is to take him to a FN prison, and right before the ship leaves, the infamous "Blue Spirit" sneaks on board. (However, Azula is on board because she is expecting him--- She leaves Mai and TyLee in charge of Ba Sing Se with the elite DyLee and FN soldiers.) While on board, the Blue Spirit breaks out Uncle Iroh and takes out a few FN soldiers (or DyLee, whoever is with them). They are just about to escape, (on the escape thing that I haven't completely thought out yet XD) when Azula steps out and says something like "I was hoping you would have been smarter Zuzu and not become a traitor like uncle." and Zuko then turns around and, takes off the Blue Spirit mask and says something like, "Let's end this once and for all, Azula." So Zuko and Azula have a their long awaited fight. In the fight, Azula somehow gets the upper hand and is about to deliver a deathening lightning bending move to Zuko but good old Uncle Iroh jumps out in front and takes the hit. It complete shock and rage, Zuko then unleashes a powerful bending move that knocks Azula out, then rushes to his DYING Uncle's side (in the back ground you hear all the FN soldiers stirring and regaining conscience so Zuko has a limited amount of time here). Iroh's dying words to Zuko are "Go, and never lose sight of who you have become! I'm proud of you Zuko." Zuko then escapes on the escape thing that I haven't completely thought out. While on this escape thing, he realizes what he must do, find the avatar................................................ and join him to help defeat the FN.

Meanwhile, (Same episode), the Gaang are on their way to Bumi's to drop off the Earth King to stay under Bumi's protection. But when they arrive there, they realize they have fallen into a trap, because Bumi has fallen and the new multi episode villan has been waiting for the Avatar's return. So the Gaang gets ambushed, and during the fight, Katara and the Earth King get captured (loss of one of the gaang members --- and yes, this tears Aang up inside, but there is nothing he can do because he is still healing and hasn't quite been able to recover the avatar state yet.) So the Gaang is now in hot pursuit of the new multi episode villan, who has the Earth King and Aang's beloved Katara.

    ??

So just as a recap, there is alot of sad sad events that have occured in this SPECULATION. Uncle Iroh is dead Bumi has fallen, probably dead Katara is seperated from the Gaang and there is a new multi episode villan, who'm I think is a defanite master water bender to be able to keep Katara under wraps. And that is all I'm going to right for now because that took a whole lot longer than I thought. So..............feedback anyone???

(Oh, I know Zuko already gave up the "Blue Spirit" in the episode Lake Lagoui, but I don't think Zuko would sneak around without an alter ego, so I just imagined that he brought the Blue Spirit back for this episode.)

I don't think that will happen because thats a lot like what happened in the avatar state, minus Iroh dying

Aang died, or came close to dying, while in the avatar state, so I thought it would just make sense that he can no longer go into the avatar state, or he just has to recover it after a while... its just what i think

I'm betting he'll finally recover Avatar State in the season 3 finale or something.

Second Part of my most amazing speculation ever, (remember its based on my previous one where Iroh dies, Bumi dies, and Katara gets captured, and the new multi episode villan is a master water bender.)

The Headband:?? While the Gaang are tracking this new villan, Toph decides to spill the beans to help keep everyone's mind off of what just happened.?? This would be a flash back episode mainly, but we'll find out all those juicy little misteries of Toph's past.

Zuko sneaks into a town occupied by FN to get a little information, considering he has been cut off the FN for a while, so he needs to brush up on his FN propaganda.?? While he is there, he hears about one of the Gaang members being captured and taken to an island prison, off the coast of the FN mainland.

They would give Katara a little scene to show you that her and the earth king are doing all right and they just made it to the prison place, and that is when Katara gets a glimpse of Suki, and the other fellow Keoshi warriors, (without there makeup).

(Not sure who the headband would belong to but I think it has something to do with Toph's past)

    ??

Part 3 The Painted Lady:?? Now that Katara and the Keoshi warriors are reaquanted, they tell each other how they got there.?? So it goes into another flashback, (but this one won't be too long), to show you what happened after their defeat against Azula.?? You find out that when they first got to the prison camp island thing, they met a master fire bending woman named Ursa, who was recently put into maximum security for acting out against the guards there.

The Gaang finally gain sight of the prison, but they decide to set up camp on an adjacent island so they can get a plan ready and so they can also catch some sleep.?? During the night, Aang gets a little visit from avatar Rokku, who tells him that if he goes into the avatar state, it would most likely kill him cause his body can no longer support it.

Zuko is getting near the island himself, when he sees the avatar's bison.?? He then decides to avoid the avatar because he wants to prove himself trustworthy and save the captured Gaang member himself, (and also because he is a loner).

(The Painted Lady is apparantly Suki, and I think at night she would get in her Keoshi uniform and perform heroic acts, sort of like a Blue Spirit type deal.)

    ??

Part 4 Sokka's Master:?? The Gaang wakes up and Aang decides not to tell them about Rokku's visit, but Toph senses there is something wrong.?? Then Toph has a great idea to teach this ability to Sokka so he wont be so worthless.?? So she gives Sokka her headband and Sokka's new outfit is ninja gear.?? He at first uses the headband as a blind fold and Toph teach him how to sense things and some good stances and attacks.?? (I know this idea is whack but its the only thing I could think of.)

Zuko invades the island to save Katara and then he finds out about Ursa being there... Dun Dun Dun...?? so he decides to act as if he was another pisoner until he gets his plan straight... then at night you see all the keoshi warriors, zuko, and katara, (I call it Team Zuko XP) about to go on the attack to save Ursa. end of show.

    ??

Part 5 The Beach:?? Team Zuko is going through the place with ease until they get ambushed right in front of the cell containing Ursa.?? Things aren't looking so good for the team until the Gaang arrives and saves the day, (Sokka owns with his new ninja skills XD).?? Anyways the Gaang and Team Zuko break Ursa out and are about to get off the island when the new villan appears.?? There is a big battle but they make it off the island.?? Since the group is so large, they have to break up.?? The Keioshi warriors go with Zuko and the Earth King, and Ursa goes with the Gaang, since Aang needs to learn fire bending.

    ??

I know that most of this wouldn't happen, but I did have some good ideas right?????

Boo all forms of shipping in general >_> Anyway, I think "The Painted Lady" will be about a Kabuki play style representation of the Avatar's jounrey, as told in the Fire Nation(so expect to facts to be skewed around to make them look like bad guys). Or more specifically, about one kabuki actor in particular...

Hmm.....I never thought of it in Kabuki style.....That'd be really interesting. I love Kabuki, ever since I read a book about it.....Although, it'd be kinda odd since women aren't allowed in it.......God, that means we're gonna see Sokka in a dress again, aren't we??? But, I have a feeling that the Painted Lady reffers to a geisha, since thats really what they are. Painted ladies. (I did a report on geisha last year for school.) I think it'd be interesting to see the gAang's reaction to a geisha. I can just see Sokka and Aang getting all drolly over her, and Katara and Toph getting P.O'ed.

it would be interesting if he JUST recovered at the finale so Aang has to make the big decision if he should take the chance and use the Avatar State.

I had theories about this too. don't know what the heck kabuki is, but in recent interview that somebody mentioned around here, the gal who plays azula mentioned also playing an actress playing katara. sounds neat and suprisingly original.
