It was probably arranged. And according to my theory, they only had one together. I'm not sure on who is Zuko's father... could be Zhao or... Iroh? I always knew the man was too fatherly to Zuko! nah... Iroh isn't the type to do such a thing as stabbing his bro in the back. But then again... "nothing is as it seems in our family..."
I love a good conspiricy theory. So I've narrowed it down to Zhao and Iroh.
ya know, I have a feeling that there are going to be a lot more deaths in Season 3. And also, I just thought of something. What if Ozai is really bling and uses his bendingto see, similar to Toph? He would feelheat in the air to seewhere everything is. That would be why we never see the upper half of his face.

Aww, Zuko's not so bad. You know, I read on AvatarSpirit.net that Azula got under Zuko's skin in CoD (this came from the creators themselves) and influenced him to betray Iroh. I hope Zuko repents and redeems himself..................

Repents? He hasn't sinned. Why must he repent. I think he just needs to put the right things into persepective.

He didn't betray anyone. Technically, his uncle betrayed the FN. Zuko is on the FN's side. Iroh hoped that Zuko would join him, but Zuko didn't. It wasn't a betrayal as it was a refusal to betray.

Ok... Zuko was a member of the FN. That is where his loyalities have usually lied. Iroh betrayed the FN. Zuko joining Iroh would mean Zuko would be betraying the FN. So Zuko chose not to betray the FN. Instead, he sided with the FN against his uncle.
Is that enough?

It's still a betrayal of family and his nation had already betrayed him by making him a wanted fugitive. So can you really betray somethingthat has already betrayed you?

ok, i think i get where sgthydras coming from- Zuko's fire nation, so for him, choosing the fire nation wouldnt be as bad because he has to look after his people and all he ever wanted depends on his choice.
However, he did betray the only person who cared for him since his banishment, so ke screwed up there to.
as far as i see it, zuko was in a lose/lose situation because no matter what choice he made he would be turning his back on something he loved (iroh or the FN)
