Official Episode Discussion: Lake Laogai (11/3)

    And this is a sign of a great show, everyone is going nuts (including me) about when new episodes will air. The TV channels toy with our emotions. Anyway, here's some more speculation for everyone (short and long term). Aang and Appa must reunited prior to 'The Guru" I would think because the title says it all. You wouldn't have Guru in the title if Aang isn't going to meet the guy (could be wrong lol). So far, the only connection between Guru and Aang is the note on Appa's horn. Since Aang hasn't had any vision or anything as of yet, he has to find the note (reuniting w/Appa in the process) and meet the Guru. Second, who is this Earth King? So far, he is only a fictitious guy named but not seen. Will Long Feng end up being the actual King, a new character or someone else we have already seen living low key. Third, (long term) Iroh is obviously trying to show Zuko how just recovering the Avatar is not going to get him back in with Ozai. How about over time Zuko takes heed of this, changes his attitude and ends up helping Aang and the gang defeat the fire lord, Azula's band and the rest of the threat the fire nation poses? Some of this may have already been mentioned as I am playing catch up with the forums since I just recently joined. Great discussions here though.

    Nick.com's tv schedule description of The earth king says that Aang and the gang show the earth king what is going on in the city and so must fight Long Feng. This leads me to believe that the Earth King is a different person from Long Feng, but of course I could be wrong. I do think, though, that the rest of what you say will probably come out to be true.

    Well, we heard that he's being... puppeted? He could just be a big airhead who follows others orders for all we kno. They might have to fight a large fraction of the Dai Le though. -shrugs- just an idea.

    ARGH!! Why can't nick give a date??? Is it that hard??? It was really shoddy of them to not even let viewers know that that Lake Laogi was cancelled until the day of. is it that much to ask for at least 72 hours to ease our pain????? MY PAIN NEEDS TO BE EASED!!! GET ME A DATE NICK!!!!

    Since I can't access the nick.com website I go to zap2it.com. But I'm not gonna go their for a while, because when nick did "Smile Bender Week" they messed up on which epis would air when.
    As far as I'm concerned, I'm going to pay extra attention to the programming commercials on nick for a while so I can be sure when to see new epis of AtLA.

    I just wen to nick.com and it says that the epsidoes of Lake Laogai and The Earth King will air in a one hour block on Saturday Nov. 4th starting at noon.

    Could be jsut another schedule screw up but thats what it says now.

    You guys living in America and Canada are so damn lucky....Avatar does'nt even come on Nick??here in India.....just when I start loooving it ,it gets taken out...and in it's place they put that dumb 'Fairly Odd Parents'...grrrr.Now all I can do sit and wait for those episodes to come out on youtube.com...I'll probably go insane before that.(there,hope that's made u people feel better)

    me too, I have no cable or any other means of avatar loving unless I happen to be babysiting at the right time. I bought every eppie from Itunes until I found You Tube. I also bought the DVDs and now I debate if I should buy the box too. Does anyone have it? Is the speacial disk really good? What am I saying I know I will buy it anyway...*looks at wallet* sigh. I will have to be a house somewhere next sat at 12-1 for the hour marathon and if its cancelled...pain pain pain.

    It also says that The Earth King is on 8:00 p.m. November 3rd. God, can Nick actually give us a correct schedule??

    Nick now has it listed as airing on Nov. 3rd at 8pm. The Earth King at the moment will be pushed back at least one more week. Source Nick.com

    I wonder why Toph isn't going to be in this one.?? i checked TV.com's site for Avatar and it doesn't have Jessie listed as one of the cast members for the ep.?? Then I looked up Jessie Flower and it says ehr next appearance will be the Earth King.?? I wonder why she isnt' in teh ep.?? I'm going ot miss Toph in this one.?? But I hope Katara gives it to Jet good!

    I think that Zuko will see that foot-print of Appa's and that triggers his search. I'm also sad that Toph won't be in it either! I really wanted her to meet Jet!
