I think I remember seeing Basco riding on Appa, I might just be seeing things though . I thought what??Mai said was actually very funny, but you would think she would of at least tried to do something. |
Yes, the last scene where Katara healed Aang showed in the backround the Earth King, Sokka, and Toph looking upset with Basco behing the king....loved the part with Mai shes hilarious..obviously she doesn't really like to fight when she thinks shes outmatched.

I just want to say something about what mostly everybody is saying about Aang right now. I just want to say that Aang probably can't fight all that well because he is afraid of what will happen when he loses comtrol. earlier in the fight he didn't want to give up Katara but when the Dai lei came he knew that it was the only way to save her. |

Zuko would get owned by azula as we have seen in the past, but i kinda like him back on the dark, although the betrayal on Iroh was heart breaking
ps. aang is not a fighter he is just a weak monk

Well, That show toyed with my emotions!! there are too many cliffhangers to count!! I think Aang was not killed, just mortally wounded.?? Iroh took a bolt to the heart and he survived. However the fall probably would have snapped his neck since he fell headfirst, thats why Katara dropped everything and caught him. Aang gave up his love for Katara. He gave up everything.in his heart to be able to save her.?? It was very heroic, but I'm not sure he will love her next season. I wonder if Aang will be the same happy person next season at all.?? If you compare him to the previous avatars, they were very stoic at the end of their training. Now that he has opened them all, he will be different.?? He renounced his love for Katara because no hero can have a lover, it makes them vunerable to their enemies.?? Kataang may have ended. Zuko has changed, he knows what he is doing is wrong, he knows Azula isnt telling him the truth. "Azula always Lies. Azula always Lies.?? Azula always Lies." I think he and Iroh figured that she would turn him in as a prisoner when she returned to the Fire Continent.?? After all, thats why she was sent out in the first place.?? I bet they are waiting for the oppertune momment, that will redeem him, and maybe put Zutara back in the possibilities.?? But more importantly, Zuko says he has changed.?? He seemed so torn at the end, like, he was worried it wouldnt work, its very hard to trick his sister. Suki and Jet are likely both dead, I dont think Azula would have let them live after chasing away Appa, the perfect bait for the avatar.?? Jet Seemed like he could have survived, but as time wears on, and he dosent appear . . . Next, the group will have to stop acting like recruters and organisers and start working as a small squad to infiltrate and destroy, like Azula.?? I wonder what theyre going to do with the earth king??? He seems like a added liability to me. |
I agree with everything, except the Zutara thing. Right now, things aren't looking so hot between them, especially after he betrayed Katara and his uncle and almost killed Aang (well Azula did, but he didn't try to stop her) I don't think Katara will just??let that go. I really hope Suki didn't die, but I think the odds are against her surviving (I don't really care about Jet). I don't know if Aang completely gave up his love for Katara, because he got shocked while in the Avatar State, but I guess we'll find out.
anyone who says iroh took lightning in the heart, watch the episode again, and watch every lightning in all episodes.
First off, lightning takes AT LEAST 4 seconds of preparation to pull off, I bet when azula saw aang come out of that crystal she stated "pumping it up". When she nailed Iroh, it was instant, it was blue, and most of all he started flaming. Aang got destroyed, he was totally electricuted for a good 2 seconds. Stop saying he was mortally wounded, HE DIED. Even tho it's lame, notice all the references to Roku telling Aang if he died in the avatar state the cycle would be broken. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? now, we're not sure the cycle is broken, I cretainly hope it's not... but there was DEFINITELY a reason for that "rule of the avatar state"

"owned" is an understatement but he would be able to hold her off, and although I was yelling at the televsion for Zuko to join the avatar and "fight the good fight" it would change his character dramatically and too many characters have been changed. |

Zuko has gotten wayyy stronger since azula fought him.Iroh has trained him and it showed when he was fighting aang and katara while azula was getting her ass handed to her by katara.Zuko could hold his own against azula.

Not the same, friend. I was reminded too, though. Besides, there were 8 gates in Naruto. |

True true and when Aang first got hit they specified that he got struck literally by lighting (lightning through Aang which we then see it what Azula did) I think it wouldn't matter if the cycle was broken unless of course they make a spin-off with a new avatar but if they don't they have no reason to continue the cycle because Avatar: The Last Airbender is focused of Avatar Aang.
