The "firebending move" is a dance of life and the room aang and zuko were trapped in was very likely a ritual room probably where the dragon egg or "treasure" is supposed to hatch on solstice.

I thought the firebending master was pretty good. I don't like how Katara insults Zuko so much though.

When Aang and Zuko fuse into Zukaang to defeat Ultimate Power Ozai, The Destroyer of World. That's my way of saying no, not really.
it might help them since its a firebending move after all.

The dance seems to be very significant --> it lead to a treasure and enlightenment. It may be a very powerful firebending form.

After 'The Firebending Masters', I predict there'll be a more domestic, character-type episode. Maybe they run into some crazy guy in a small town who's a member of the White Lotus, and he tests them (tries their patience, as well as their abilities, to see if they're ready to accomplish their mission).
Then after that the series checks in on the villains to see what they're up to, then our heroes run into multi-episode trouble (similar to how they got stuck in Ba Sing Se in Season 2. Maybe involving Koh?).
    This is just speculation.

I'm hoping 314 will further the plot as well as develop the characters. We saw in 313 how everyone is getting used to Zuko in the group and how Zuko is getting used to being in the group. It concentrated on developing the relationship between Aang and Zuko. I think the next episode should develop Zuko's relationship with the rest of the group member.

I also or perhaps alternatively hope the 314 will let us in on Iroh's whereabouts and activities.

And let's not forget the all important plot. I don't think there's any more time for dawdling with minor characters and fluff.

we got one episode featuring Zuko and Aang, I think the next one will be about Sokka and Toph or just Toph. One episode for each of them.

There is a lot of stuff that still has to happen, so there will be some rushing, but not too much I hope.

Here's what I think should happen.

IROH SHOULD GET A FREAKIN STORY!!!

seriously though, it's not like we haven't been patient. We keep talkin about his past why not have an episode.

It would be nice to have a flash back story reveal more of his history; BUT not too much. Thats the mistake in alot of books and movies these days- they do more than fill in the dots, they literally spoon feed everything to the audience/reader and take away all the mystery and alot of the significance of the character/plot/themes etc.

Unfortunately we have very few episodes left. With a 4 part ending we are left with four episodes, and ive recently read from other posts there might be 2-parter between ep 18 and 13.

I loved Firebending Masters because we got to see Aang and Zuko interact and bond with one another, each growing to like the other and learn from them. HOWEVER, i have felt that the last two episodes; both significant because ZUko has joined the Gaang, have been toooo comedic. I love sokka poking Zuko, and ZUko & Aangs convo's in the Aztec ruins, BUT there has been too much. WAT definitely needed to be more serious because we the fans having been waiting for this for over a season, but it was too sugar coated.

Now, im fairly sure that this is going to be resolved later, especially with Katara distrusting ZUko, basicly asking for future exposition and character developement, so i wont mind WAT and FBM. But it better be soon, because this dramatic moment is for atleast getting wrecked by me over thinking the episodes and waiting for the drama. They did delivour philosophy on fire bending that ive guessed (energy, life, sun etc)was right so im happy there GO FIRE!

I only hope the rainbow fire hasnt resulted in Aang suddenly being a master bender and not actually need ZUko's training. AHHH i want the ZUko-Aang training scene!!!

Well I knew we were in for some less serious episodes after the DOBS uberserious/fail. The finale will most likely be hardcore too, so this inbetween space needs to be lighthearted.

I second that last part! I was 95% sure Zuko and Aang would be good friends, but it was nice to see it clearly protrayed on screen. Bring on the firebending aw3som3n3ss!!!

My guess is that it was the source and philosphy of fire thats been changed/heightened in ZUko and Aang, RATHER than the technique and form. My guess is ZUko will still teach Aang firebending movies BUT i do feel cheated of the same energy that Toph teaching Aang had. Aang had his perspective changed by Toph along with being taught the technique of Eath. BUt Zuko had that stolen by the SUn warriors I can hope that ZUko will still get an ep with Aang like Bitter work, but it seems unlikely

When Zuko say that he lost his stuff, toph is the first one to answer, I think she found something.
