What will happen with Chit - Sang?

    Airbending is not based on genetics though. I think, I'm probably wrong though, it's based on the person's spiritual connection to the bending type. If that makes sense, then Ty Lee certainly ACTS like an Airbender.

    As far as we know, bending has two factors. Your parents, and your spirituality. Ty Lee certianly fits the second one (nomad life in the circus, jumping, highwire act, happy, etc.) Now all we need is a backstory about how her grandparents were air nomads that went into hiding. I've already bought it, I'm sure once they explain it in the show it will make even more sense.

    Ursa might have something to do with Airbenders in such a high position in the FN. But idk, we'll see.

    Ty Lee is very acrobatic, but she's a circus freak, so thats not weird... I highly doubt she's an Airbender.

    airbenders dont have female amongst them, they do have parents but they are separated after birth i think. besides that i think that bending in total is from your nature, if your born is desert or ice or close to volcano. anyways they got the bending from dragon,byson,the cave rat and the mood so where in that line does it say they were born with it? i think your nature has to fit it like when your surrounded by fire or water your spirit some how connects to it after the amount of time you stay there, so if ty was doing what she does before she was in the fire nation then she is firebender if not she is close to airbending.
    basicaly you adapt to your nature and its spirit and after a while you become one with it.

    wouldnt it be cool if sokka went with aang and zuko to the dragons nest? he doesnt have any bending or spirit for that so if he was shown the firebendings real source he could adapt to it.

    Actually, there are female airbenders. They just live separate from the males. Both sexes have two separate temples. The last airbending Avatar (the one before Aang) was actually a girl.

    I don't know if anyone know this, all Air Nomads are born with bending abilities. Girls just live in the air temple like the eastern and western air temples. If you are woundering if I just made this up, i not. Read "The Lost Scrolls: Air" the makers write books about each nation. You can get background on everything. And yes, this proves that I am obsess about Avatar.
