PART 3:

The figure standing in front of Braeden swung his swords and they collided with his. Braeden grunted at the blow, but he swung back and the figure blocked it. The boy blew at him and he flew back.

What the heck? His breath is so powerful! He can push me back! Whats going on? Braeden thought to himself.

Suddenly, the boy swung his sword at Braeden and clipped his shoulder.

"Ahh!!" Braeden yelled in pain. But Braeden swung his sword at the boy, and hit him in the chest. The body fell on the ground, and it...dissapeared.

"This is creepy," Braeden said.

Suddenly, out of the remains of the comet on the ground, a black tornado started to form, and it wrapped itself around Braeden, and began to spin. Braeden screamed.
Three cuts started to form on his face. One on his forehead, and two on his cheeks. His mind started to fill with all the people that have caused him harm, and three words appeared on his swords.

Hate, Anger, Shadow

Braeden stood up. His body seemed different. He seemed more muscular. His clothes were black. And he had a feeling inside him... a feeling he had been keeping inside him forever...anger.

The new Dark Avatar stood up, and suddenly a circle opened around him, and he dissapeared...

The dark Earthbenders dissapeared suddenly, and Aang came out of the Avatar State. Katara and Sokka were lying on the ground, gasping for breath.

"Aang, who were those guys?" Sokka asked.
"I don't know, but, Earthbenders aren't evil, are they?" Aang asked.
Appa landed on the ground in front of them, and they got on his back.
"Yip yip," Aang said. Appa took off into the air.

That night Aang began to think about his old friends Zuko and Toph....

"I miss them every day", Aang said to himself. Appa grunted in agreement.
Appa landed on a stone slab in a field. Aang sat on the ground and began to meditate.
"Hello Aang", said a familiar voice.
It was Avatar Roku.
"Avatar Roku! What is it?" Aang asked.

"You may be the Avatar, Aang. But there is a bending you need to learn," he said.
"What do you mean?" Aang asked.

"A new threat has risen. And I have a quest for you".

Book 4: Shadow

Chapter 2: The Prophecy

PART ONE:

Braeden appeared in a small temple-like place. In front of him was a man sitting there.
"Well Dark Avatar, where have you been?" he said.
"What do you mean?" Braeden asked. He was very confused.

"I've been waiting here for you for years, and you don't think I'm bored. What would you do for three years in a small room like this? Huh?" the man said.

"Well, I'm sorry to keep you waiting, I don't know whats going on! And what do you mean, Dark Avatar?".

"Oh goody. Now I get to explain the entire thing to you!!" the man said.
He hopped up on his feet.
"Well, for starters, you are the Dark Avatar! Ever heard of Aang? The Avatar? The Last Airbender?" he said.

"No, no, and no," Braeden replied.
"Well, we got tons of stuff to go over then," he said. "By the way, I'm Y'nitsed. And the Avatar, is a young boy named Aang, who mastered the four elements, and defeated the Fire Lord and ended the Great War".

"So, what is the Dark Avatar?" Braeden asked.
"You, have been chosen because you have been mocked, and you've been filling up with rage your entire life, and now, it's time for you to have revenge!" Y'nitsed said.

"Well, if I'm supposed to be angry, how come I don't feel angry?"
"We'll get to that later, now you need to learn to bend."
"Bending?"
"Bending the four elements: Water, Earth, Fire and Air."

"How long will this take?" Braeden asked.

"Well, since the Dark Avatar is born with a knowledge of all the elements, about two minutes," Y'nitsed said.
"Well, thats convienent", Braeden said.

Y'nitsed taught Braeden how to bend the four elements, and Braeden became a natural.
"Truly, my new Dark Avatar, you have mastered the elements", Y'nitsed said.
"Thank you master," Braeden said.
"Now, I must tell you of your destiny. You need to take revenge on all those who have harmed you. You need to bring balance. And, the Avatar, must be destroyed. You can go from Earth to Aang's world by thinking of it. Now, to go into the Dark Avatar state. You need to think of everything that makes you feel angry. Then you are at your most powerful".

Braeden started to think of all the people that have bullied him, then his three scars on his face began to glow black, and his eyes turned black as well.

Braeden screamed into the air, and Y'nitsed looked up at him.
"The Dark Avatar, is born" he said.
