Okay, maybe I'm still just wired over from the awesome finale and am therefore feeling rather generous, but I pretty much think Nick has earned my forgiveness for all the crap they've put ATLA thru. And not just because it was an awesome finale(we have Bryke to thank for that), but because of the true philosophy that they allowed to be displayed.

Let's face it; most kids shows, and even adult shows, feel inclined to send the message that heroes must never ever kill, even when it comes to the worst and most dangerous of villians. (Thank you, Superman. )

So when Aang called up Roku&friends over the spirit hotline, I was expecting some deep fundamental lesson to the same effect: 'Don't ever kill.'

But then, to my infinite surprise, these Nick-sanctioned heroes suddenly say: "Life is sacred, but do what you must for the world's sake." I was like, HURRRAYYY!!! Granted, Aang locked up Ozai instead of killing him, but the true philosophy was left alone: "Life is sacred, but do what you must for the world's sake."

I was sooo pleased that Nick, the children's channel, allowed this to be said, because soo many people would rather espouse the Stan Lee philosophy than the truth. THANK YOU NICK!! THANK YOU BRYKE! THANK YOU AVATAR!!!!
