    You're right I did and the finale ending on Sunday instead of Saturday, but I was right in that it was consecutive and that it would be run through in a week.

    Considering Nickelodeon's tendancy for anything goes, I thought my assertions were pretty spot on.

    In any case I guess it really doesn't matter because in a month it will a non-issue. If they renig and fail to air anything, we still have the DVD July 29th and all our suffering will be over, one way or another.

    At least we know when the finale airs now. I hate Nick's treatment of Avatar. Anyone else notice how on the Nick Mag page it says a new 2-hour long episode of Avatar is airing and how they don't mention that's the finale? Nick for some reason never wants to acknowledge the end of a series and acts like it hasn't. They seem to think that it's fans will not notice.

    Don't worry, I seriously doubt they would flake out now. Something tells me that this is the set date and will not change.

    I look at this way either way it doesn't matter. Avatar is ending. (sigh) What else can Nick do to us that's worse than that?

    July 14th or July 19th, who cares? Let us just have the ending and grieve for the loss of this epic work of animated poetry in peace.

    Bleh. As much as I can't wait to see the new episodes, this Avatar version of "Phantomania" still makes me angry. Although I am glad that they're at least bringing it up it in the magazine. At least that shows that Nick is kinda acknowledging the show's existence. And maybe the finale will actually get its own frickin' commercial (instead of just being advertised for about five seconds in the one commercial they had for the last few episodes like ANOTHER show I used to know ). Anyway. I just hope that if they ARE going to cram the last ten episodes into such a short time period, they need to do it right this time. Like have more than one commercial. And play them over and over. And have Avatar finale toys being given away with kids' meals at Burger King. Anything that shows they actually CARE about the fans and aren't just blatantly shoving Avatar out of the way.

    Once the DVD is released... Are we all going to celebrate like the Rebel Alliance at the end of Return of the Jedi? Massive festivals and celebrations across the Avatar Fandom. I like the sound of that.

    But there's absolutely no way I can. Unless South America plans to air the episodes and finale on the same dates.
    I'll probably surf teh webs so I won't have until the *cough* 24th!
    And then, half of me will restrain myself for that extra week to feel the added suspense of the wait.
