Where do you think the Fire Nation will siege next, if they do? They already tried to siege the Northern Water Tribe, but failed, they sieged Omashu, and then they sieged Ba Sing Se, now where else? I am thinking the Southern Water Tribe. Any speculations on Season 3: Fire?

I think season 3 will be about a race back to the Fire Nation. Until the Earth King said something, the Fire Nation didn't KNOW about the pending eclipse! So, Aang and the Gang will now have to intercept ANYONE who knows about the plan before they get to the Fire Nation. They will HAVE to stop Azula and her goons now, because it will be imperative. As far as sieges go, I think the Fire Nation will be besieged by the Earth Kingdom army, but it will be a big fight. This will happen around Episode 16 or so, I speculate. The siege will allow Aang to set up his confrontation with Ozai by episode 20 and the end of the series.

Not quite The Earth Kingdom is dead the 5 generals gone and the Military in Ba Sing Sai is trapped.I bet news will reach everyone that Ba Sing Sai has fallen Gernreal Fongs already messed up base he will be devestated and probelbly surrender or The Fire Nation will seige his fortress and any chance of lauinching an small force will be gone. But the Water Tribe still has a fighting force.

A rescesents will be formed to stop them, I think they will go underground below that underground city in Ba Sing Se, and recauter it by capturing or killing all the membres of the Di Lee.

I have a speculation on, if there will be any, season 4:
Aang has a vision that there are still Air Nomads out there and Azula finds out Aang had the vision.

    Southern water tribe?
Do you remember the first few eps, the entire tribe had been reduced to a tiny villiage. The southern tribe was hit way harder than the north and practically lost everything, they have already been defeated.
yes Pakku and a few benders are traveling down to help rebuild, but there isn't nearly enough time to make it a viable player in the war yet.

The Water Tribes and the avatar state are the only hope of peace for this world. Even if Aang did defeat the Firelord, I don't think that the war would be over. Now that the entire Earth Kingdom will be captured, there is a whole new land of firebenders. But if the Firelord was to die, there would be too much corruption for the entire Fire Nation to handle. Azula and Zuko if he stays evil, will have to put the world in their power. This would be very hard, and Zuko and Azula would have to fight over much of it. I think this calls for a 4th season!

Oh, and Katara OWNED Azula in that fight down in the caves. Azula is seeming to become... weak! compared to other people. She didn't seriously need Zuko to win, but now she DOES. Zuko will go back to rescue Iroh, and they will try to overthrow Azula just like Azula overthrew the Earth King.

Ehhh...don't say end of series, end of season would be better. Simple fact is no one knows at this point whether s3 will be the final season or not...

Anywho, apparently season 3 takes place mostly in the Fire Nation, as the creators have stated. They'll have to tie up the EK stories though. I think Omashu may be reclaimed, and Ba Sing Se shouldn't be too far behind it. As it stands now there's four Fire Nation citizens in the city "controlling" it. But who's to say the city's thousands of citizens don't rebel? There must be plenty of benders. It'll probably be weeks before any Fire Nation troops will be able to reach the area. Sure they have the Dai Li but aren't they outnumbered?

They'll probably try to retakeover the Northern Water Tribe next, as it's the last stronghold of resistance anywhere in the world.

Funny...at the end of last season Aang and the gang saved the NWT. This season they couldn't save Ba Sing Se in the end.

Eh, I wouldn't say she is weak, I'd probably just say Katara is better than we thought. Azula was still able to handle Aang easily enough, and he had access to 3 bending arts. Katara had enough water available that she was able to hold Azula off and then gain the upperhand. I'd say Azula understimated her more than anything, notice the look of surprise when Katara gave one of her bangs a little trim

hehe yea... I'm just getting caught up in the moment that Katara actually did something to Azula
I'd say you're right about the whole underestimating thing.

Yeah she beat Aang, but lets not forget that Aang is the worst fighter out of the GAang. I mean like you said, 3 bending arts...he should've been able to take on Zuko with no porblem and Azula with little to no problem.

I actually figured something like this would happen. All through season 2 Azula was being portrayed as practically unbeatable, Suki couldn't touch her, Zuko couldn't touch her, even Aang couldn't really touch her.

But we know eventually she has to lose so I guessed by the season finale someone would give her more of a run for her money, but I was expecting it to be Aang. Turns out Aang still can't really touch her, but Katara sure as heck can (at least when there is enough water to hold her off)

by season 3 though I think we can expect Azula to be taken down a notch or two
