What? What about my Shyamalalalalalalallamaman? I've been using that for months! *sulks*

Oh, Tom.. Don't go all emo on me. Yours is good too.

Yaay! Ugh, I hate emos. Go back to Myspace. Lawl.

    Emo test!

True. But you could have said that to throw me off course, making me think you're not emo just because you expressed emo hate.

Though, you could have known what an emo wouldn't say, and said the opposite of what an emo would normally say. But you still might be feeling another emotion that pertains to the emo species.

I wonder how many more interviews about the live action movies will include someone at Nick or Shyamalan saying "I think we've got the next...big, great something or another?"

"I think we've got the next Harry Potter."~generic Nick suit

"I think we've got the next Star Wars."~Shyamalan

I read that and just want to say...."Ummm welcome aboard guys. Newsflash: Avatar has been freakin' awesome since the get-go. Glad to see you've finally jumped aboard and assimiliated to the Avatar 'religion.' Freakin' freaks."

    SO LAME.

"I think we've got the next Indiana Jones! :B"

"Freakin' freaks" is right. If I was Bryke, I'd be insulted. "Uh thanks.. But what about when it was a show? You know.. That cartoon show that which the movies are based on? >>"

Yeah Nickelodeon doesn't care. If they did they would have showed avatar long ago.

But with the movie it makes sense to show it after the series has aired

Dude, where have you been? LOL

Everyone will go to see the first movie no matter what they say. It will just be too tempting not to go. I just hope Shyamalan does a decent job. But like many I don't have my hopes high.

Truth is I am glad to see his stock good down somewhat recently for these reasons:

    1. Lowers everyone's (especially rabid fans like here) expectations to the point it will be easier for him to be better then expected.

    2. He will now have after 2 at least, 3 maybe misfires in a row really be out to prove everyone wrong and truly put a great effort into these movies.

It is going to be very difficult for them to make a profitable movie. There are several things they will need to consider while making and marketing the movie.

Will the movie be family friendly enough for parents and young children to go see it? Will it live up to the expectations of the older fans? Will people who aren't fans or even aware of the show go see it? (and that's the most unlikely one)

    M. Night, and Bryke definitely have their hands full. But Nick and Paramount also have their's full too; they have to market it this movie very well. They can't go about advertising the same way they did with the show. And they probably won't since they have too much at stake.

Per the "Family friendly" thing, I think they can pull off at most, a level of Spider-man movies-like action violence, to where parents take their kids to see the movie anyway.
