The only serious complaint that can be leveled at this season finale is that the voice of an important new character is a bit too hard to understand, which is quite serious considering the importance of the character's words to the conclusion.

    Wonder who that could be?

Here is another review. Like most reviews they have no idea what they're talking about and the way they wrote it is hilarious. At least they're smart enough to like what they see.

Scratch that last article this little excerpt from another newspaper is even funnier:

"SEASON FINALE Sozin's Comet, 8 p.m., Nick The third season of Avatar: The Last Airbender comes to a close with a fight against the Fire Lord. Remember when cartoons were on Saturday mornings? (Please, all you otakus, don't e-mail us defending it; we put it on here, didn't we?)"

The obvious difference between this review and the previous one is that the writer sounds like he/she has actually watched all of season three, as well as the other seasons, and hence actually understands what he/she is talking about.

But I dont like the fact that a lot is left unanswered.

It doesn't say a lot, just a few loose ends. And that's good. Stories that tie up absolutly everything are the ones that die forever once they are "finished". The stories that live on forever are the ones that allow their fans to keep imagining, to keep living in a universe that still has dark corners that need to be explored (AKA, time to hit the fanfiction).

Good point. Not everything needs to be explained.
