    I might be off on this but I think the actual animation part would probably be the cheapest because it's done in Korea because it's dirt cheap over there.

    so do u guys think the footage we just saw would have been a better pilot if the creators had decided to use it instead of the one we know of? cause it prob would have changed the entire plot of avatar and the moves zuko did seem a lot cooler than anything he's done so far in the real avatar.

    I dunno if it would be better - the overall animation looked kinda bad. Plus the charecters all had this - flat look to them.

    The style was not that polished, but it was just a pilot to pitch to the network, right? I'm sure they would've at least cleaned it up if it got picked up.
    I am kinda glad they made Zuko's character older though. I'm sure Zuko fangirls are happier too

    the characters in the pilot looked really weird compared to the actual show! it looked like a good show though but i prefer how they've drawn the characters on the actual show!

    the problem with the pilot in the boxed set is you have to listen to Bryan and Michael commentating over it...which is totally cool, don't get me wrong...but you can't really hear what's going on in the ep itself...

    unless there was a way to turn off the commentary and i just didn't realize it?

    Well you can remove some sounds I forgot how but I'll ask my later.

    A flat Katara, not good lol

    The pilot looks cool and if any could upload it commentary or not, we would all be very thankful.

    well, if you read the comments, the author reveals that the scenes are from a pilot episode that you only get if you order a DVD set thingy...
