need help on avatar game!!!

    i don't think this is a duplicate thread thingy, but if it is i'm sorry, i know how u people will attack it there's more then 1. just kidding

    well any way i just bought the avatar game for my Nintendo DS and i got to the part when i have to beat Lian's machine thing but i have no idea how. i damage it very little but it just gets its health thing back too full. so if anyone has and knows how to beat it please tell me!?? i'm desperate!!its a really fun game by the way

    You are lucky, I got it for the PC, and it isn't all that great. You can only play as aang, it has poor grafics, they warped the story line, and it over all isn't that gerate. I heard the other versons are better. It is so bad that I just stoped playing, I couldn't take it!

    Anyway, I'm ranting about something that shouldn't be here. I would sugest going to gamespot. Because you have an account here, you have one there. GO to the page for this game, and ask for help in it's forum. If that dosn't work, well, surf the web.

    I got it for PS2, and I'm stuck as well. I have to say, though, it's not as bad as people were making it out to be.

    If your problem is that you keep dying, you can do what I did. Online, there are cheat codes for infinate life. Put in those codes, then just beat the crap out of the enemy without worrying about your life. (at least on the PS2, anyway)

    no i dont??die that much, or i should say that katare dosnt have u noticed she's ussally the last one alive or aang, sokka dies 1st thou because??he has to get right up to the enemy.??

    i dont think there are any cheat codes for the DS because i tried finding them 2.??

    Wait a minute...are you talking about Lian's first or second machine? The second machine is in that underground village thing, and is the final boss. Which one?

    no i beat the 1st 1 finally, that was at four paws island then i had to beat it again,and i did. but now i'm stuck on the third huge machine that she did at the villiage??after??at??the air temple.??

    When you go to attack an enemy, mostly the big machines, wait until the gears turn red, which probably means it's overheated or recharging. In the meantime, make sure you avoid them until then, just run around until the gears do turn red. Also, make sure your level is high enough and that you have good inventory items equipped to your characters. If you play as Aang all the time, like I do, make sure he has items equipped to him that have Agility, and make sure he has all the Four Winds items. Haru's special items are Core items, Sokka's are Soul Iron, and I forget Katara's. Oh yeah, Lifebender I think. Also, defensive moves are a huge waste of time, go for the attack moves.

    There will be a little cog or wheel on the side of the machine that glows a redish orange color, with the character you are playing (Aang is the best) go and beat the crap out of it. If you use aang and you have the Tornado move, get right up next to the glowing cog and do that move, you only need to do it like, 3 or 4 times and the machine is dead. If you don't have a big move then just keep on hitting the glowing cog and eventually it will blow up and die. Oh yea, each machine has a little pattern it follows, so you can prepare when to attack and when you know you need to scram so as not to get hit. That's about it.

    Oh ye, does nay one know where Sokka's Core Iron Ring is on the second level (the town with the stolen food). Every time I've played I?? got all the chests, all the quests done, every thing is done but I never got/found that stupid last ring. any one know where it is, or if its just a glitch?

    Yea. You have to hit the back if I remember when its red. (Haven't played it since I beat it like 2 months ago for Gamecube)

    Use the cheat codes if you can find then because it makes it too easy. I shut the game off once and didn't put the infinite health cheat code in because I didn't want to beat it that quickly.

    I suggest not putting in the 1-KO code in as well....all you have to do is tap them and they die, no fun at all.

    You mean the Soul Iron Ring? I thought you didn't get that until later? Did you check all the little chests lying around?



    ^ I put in the cheat codes for infinite health and chi and a couple of others, but not the one hit-KO, you're right, that takes out the fun.
