Who is more crazy obcessed with victory, Zhao or the warden from The Boiling Rock?
Zhao tried to kill the moon, and would rather than have the ultimate disgrace of accepting aid from Zuko, while the warden would rather commit suicide than have is perfect record tarnised.
Zhao. Because as you said "he tried to kill the moon". It also caused his death. The Warden didn't have a theatrical speech about his victory.
Yea, the Warden was pretty dedicated to his record, but when you think about it, it was a pretty smart thing to do. The thing that I can't understand is; did he know that Azula was up there too? Because I don't think it would be good for your record if you killed the Fire Nation Princess too.

Yeah I thought of that too. But the way he was thinking, he was going to be dead anyway. I thought it was more stupid of his subordinates to listen to him, because if Azula is killed, they will be alive to face Ozai's wrath.
How dare you compare Zhao to the warden! That pitiful man doesn't even have his name given!

From my Avatar, you know how I feel about Zhao. He was awsome, if Zhao was there and he ordered the line to be cut, and Azula just happened to be killed, I think he would have found a way to get away with it with Ozai. He is just as minipulitive as Azula. I also think part of him would be happy if Azula was out of the way, just as much as he wanted Zuko out of the way, if Ozai had no heirs, he could be his heir.
The warden in this episode is better than the joke of a villian warden from Imprisioned. He was an improvement over that idiot.
I would have to say Zhao. I mean, he did not care who was affected by the moon when he destroyed the spirit. Not to mention the whole "Zhao the Conqueror! Zhao the Moon Slayer!" thing.
The warden was not concerned about his record, I'd think, but more concerned of what would happen to him if these people escaped. Not to mention he probably figured Ozai would kill him if they did get away. And I don't think he had any idea Azula was on there. It seemed like for the most part, he was looking at the floor, or away from Azula so he probably didn't see her.
100% Zhao! He had the rank of Admiral the highest position you can get. Nobody gets a position like that without a fierce determination for victory. Also just look at his personality. He is insane and aggressive, that is a sign of a true victory crazed psycho. If he was not killed by the ocean spirit he probably would have eventually committed suicide. The Warden seemed to just enjoy order int he prison. I don't think he thought of it as victory.

He can't compete with the Warden's ULTRA-UGLY, either. Talk about cruel and unusual punishment. Having to look at that guy's face for the rest of your life beats the death penalty easy.
