Avatar: The Last Airbender: Mini-series rumor?

I heard last July that there were supposed to air 3 mini-series of Avatar containing a few episodes? 1 was Zuko finding his mother, another was going to explain how Iroh went to the spirit world, and the other one was unknown. It was supposed to air this year.
Did people get mixed up with the Live-action movies?

It was planned, and confirmed on an out-dated flyer that indeed 3 mini-episodes/movies or something along those lines would come out, though it was a rumor that they were to be about Zuko and his mother, and Iroh going to the spirit world.

Still, again, the flyer was out-dated, so odds are those episodes/specials were cancelled way before they started making them.

Those Mini Specials about the mystery of Iroh and Ursa sound really good, but sadly I don't think they are real. The Live-action movies however, are indeed real and coming out either this year or next year. I just hope the Movies turn out at least tolerable, I would love it if the producers tried their best and did an excellent job on these three new up and coming live-action movies!

movie is supposed to be premiered July 2nd 2010

the movie trailer will be shown in the new transformers movie soon

Though who knows, once we are closer to the premier of the movie they might release some mini episodes as advertisment or something (hopefully something plot signifigent like the Ursa loose end)

I thought the Ursa thing was going to be tied up in the Nick Mag.
