A great idea! I'm in. Though I must admit, there's a chance I might be too excited from the ending to remember.

ha, yeah me too. i always like flip out after avatar ends, so i'm expecting to be very worked up, especially since this is the finale and all...

but i will try my best to remember! i love iroh, he's one of my fav characters... i will definitely do this, just maybe not right away.

    RIP Mako

You know I was just thinking about how it has been mentioned on several threads that tonights episodes are the last two Mako made as Iroh.?? So I propose this...

In honor of Mako and the wonderful work he has done over the years with all his performances we all take a moment of silence after the episode to think about the influence he has had on all of us a the voice of Iroh.?? I myself will think of the many movies and shows that I have seen him in and remember what a great actor he was.

If you agree then please respond below.

Then after the episode take the moment of silence.?? Then some time we come back to this thread and just mention the one memory we thought of that had him.?? (Example: Iroh teaching Zuko about the 4 nations and how it helped him learn to redirect lightening.)?? I will post mine probably by Monday.

Enjoy the episodes and say a prayer for Mako.

that's a really good idea, i'm with you on this one!!!

Definitely Tales of Ba Sing Se was the pinacle of Mako's voice acting in Avatar.

Well, I took my moment of silence for Mako.?? It was hard to do so since the end was really messed up with Zuko but I have a theory that I will post a new topic on if it is not already been discussed.

My one memory of Mako that I thought about was when Iroh said in Lake Laogai, "Zuko, it is time to answer the big questions and look inward.?? Who are you and what do you want?"

Another memory I thought of was in the movie "Sidekicks."?? The time he was teaching the kid on how to break a board and then how he was in the tournament for breaking bricks.?? He came out to win that event by breaking 9 bricks in an apron.?? Lol.

Mako, thank you for the fond memories.?? We will never forget you in all that you have given us.?? Above all thank you for making the character of Iroh.?? The character will not be the same without you.

    RIP Mako.

    In loving memory Makoto Iwamatsu.

aw I wish I'd seen this on the night of the finale! I'll say one now..

and a memory of mako..my sisters and I were walking down the Hollywood walk of fame about maybe a few weeks (give or take) after his death, and we came upon Mako's star for his achievement in film...we all stopped for a few moments and silently cried for him...then we went to Nickelodeon later that day and saw many shots and fan pics of Iroh on the walls..and it def. made the fact all too real that he was really gone...it was sad, but sorta happy at the same time

    RIP Mako
