This is why I think Aang died!

I have noticed the that "Previously on Avatar" blurbs before each episode??are answered in the episode. In this one, Roku was warning Aang about dying in the avatar state. He had an exit wound on his back, meaning that Azula's bolt of lightening went right through him. Katara's water brought life back to him!

Can you see the irony? If Katara had used that water on Zuko's scar, who evetually betrayed his Uncle and fought against them, she would have had none left to keep Aang alive.

This show is fantastic! I was almost foaming at the mouth! The fight scenes were incredible!!

I noticed that. The episode should'be been an hour and a half instead of a hour long, it didn't feel like anything was accomplished. I cannot believe Zuko's betrayl I thought he would help his uncle and Katara. This episode had a great plot! I wonder if Aang will die in the last episode of the show.

Plenty was accoplished! The Earth Kingdom fell, Zuko's alliances were determined, Aang finally managed to conquer the Avatar state (sort of). I think that, if Katara had used it on Zuko, then he might not have betrayed them. I have this horrible feeling that Iroh is going to be executed.

I mean nothing was accomplished in terms of finishing the battle of the episode. All the episode did was build up some juicy plot details for the next season, which is a good thing though.

Wow, everyone thinks someone is going to die. Iroh, Zuko, Azula, Katara, and Aang. They all have good reason/plot reason to die. I wonder what they're going to do with Iroh, I don't think Zuko could ever let Azula kill him, he would shoot himself in the face before she killed him.

I thought that whole Aang death scene, and then the Katara bringing him back to life was beautiful! It made me feel so sad, but happy inside. It was just beautiful. Those poor poor Zutarians, you could pretty much hear their bodies "thump" as they hit the ground dead as doornails.

I'm pissed, I am really angry at the whole Avatar state thing.

FINALLY he masters it, FINALLY, I had been waiting so long, and 5 seconds into it, Azula kills him. If u notice, as soon as he went into the crystals she bolted to the other side (u can see zuko standing alone in front of the dai li when aang goes into the avatar state), and hit him in the back.

He was definitely killed, it's too obvious, he plummets to the ground, his big avatar falls over and disappears, him in the avatar state falls into nothingness, he died. Now, what this means for the Avatars and Avatar state... I don't think anyone knows. He is obviously still the avatar, still has the avatar power (notice the tatoo glow when katara brings him back to life), so I don't think (altho I'm not certain) it "counts" as dying. I hope not, I don't want aang to bring the end of the avatar... aang's my fav character even tho he sux at fighting compared to katara and toph. If??someone tries to??drown u, and you are brought to the beach and ressurected, u technically died but you weren't killed. I think the Avatar and the Avatar state are fine, but it's gunna take aang a long time to want to use them again.

I thought the reincarnation cycle would only end if Aang died in the Avatar state and STAYED dead. Katara brought him back to life apparently. Unless he didn't die 100% and was slowly dieing.

I KNow it's so fricking ironic! He had to give everything up just to save himself and katara but it turns out that kills him and he ends up getting saved by katara. (and Iroh)

I think the avatar cycle will be over or something in season 3.They will probably try to figure out a way to make it work.Anyway's the fortunteller has been right so far.So there isn't any reason not to believe that aang will be with katara.Aang can't be loyal to just a single perso because he is the avatar. He has to be loyal o everyone on the earth.(I really think she will marry zuko if he becomes fire lord.

The Fortuneteller also stated at the end of the episode that Aang could determine his own future, so Kataang could still work out
