well after watching the newest episode, my first thought was that Longshot was going to put Jet out of his missery with his arrow... but was he just gaurding the door?????I dont know, what does everyone else think?

Yes, he was just guarding the door (that makes the most logical sense, at least. it seemed pretty obvious to me) and please post all of your questions in the Ask A Question, Get An Answer thread at the top of the forum. also, check before posting a new thread because this has been asked multiple times already. thank you.

unless Jet suddenly moved he was on the ground and Longshot WASN'T aiming at the ground...so he wasn't about to shoot his best friend and leader with an arrow...which wouldn't exactly be a quick and painless death anyway...

Yes, he was definately aiming at the door. The first time I watched it, I thought he was aiming at Jet too, but then I rewatched it, and he definately wasn't.

Nope, the arrow was pointed at the door.?? I doubt that Longshot would have "put him out of his misery" while Smellerbee was trying to say goodbye.?? He would have waited, given her a minute and asked her to move away.

An arrow is REALLY not a good way to put someoine out of their misery. Even if you shot the arrow into a persons skull, or spine ((Then they wouldn't feel anything, if you did it right)).??He was guarding Jet while Smellerbee was taking care of him.

When he spoke chill ran down my spine, it was really weird

I think the arrow might lead to their escape and coming back later on, even if Jet is dead (which with off screen deaths you can never know for sure)

when i first saw it i thought he was putting jet's out of his misery, or giving him an honorable death or whatever, everyone seems to think that hes guarding the door but i really dont. what if he was shooting a ladder, you've seen it in the movies they shoot a few arrow up a wall and they're able to climb up the wall and scurry onto safety. I still dont even see a door there, the door that long feng entered from, and the gang entered from was the one they exited from, and thats not where longshot was aiming, in the completely opposite direction really.

you've gotta remember that they cant show blood or anything on a kids show, Zhao's death was assumed, he was taken by Koizilla and bam hes dead.

The way his voice sounded you can tell he doesn't talk much.

Iono... unless to end his misery, why would they show Longshot pulling his bow? Its a waste of seconds... maybe that is the case.
I know he wasnt pulling his bow in Jets direction, but it could be those edits where TV doesnt want killing (like no guns and such). Speculation...

it wont be a dead end though, so far no dead ends in avatar history, and i dont think they'd start now
