I have a question which is partly related to the show. My question is if the movie is animated or live action. I have heard people say both. Has anyone heard if it is one or the other?

i heard there were both, but the animated ones werent about the original series they were about the storys of other avatars like kyoshi or something

I still hope Nick pulls its head out of its arse and goes ahead with the three hour-long animated Avatar movies.
Shyalaman may do an uber-awesome job with the live-action Avatar trilogy but it is the animated series that we all first fell in love with...stay true to your roots Nickelodeon to ensure the greatest success.
