    Who's Jin? Is she that girl who was part on Ying and Tahn's family or some random chick?

    Jin is a refugee who somehow comes across Zuko and takes a liking to him. I don't know why that girl was with Tahn or Ying, she didn't do anything, and since it has been confirmed that she isn't Zuko's Date, then what was her purpose?

    You have to admire her -- she asked Zuko out! She wouldn???t strike you as aggressive, or even very assertive, but she???s able to get what she wants, in a nice way. She???s understanding, kind, and a true romantic. It???s a shame Zuko???s so messed up; she could really have been good for him. Like most people in the lower ring, Jin???s parents were refugees who moved to the city. They have struggled much of their life but they have been strong and able to provide for their family.
