    I dont get it. What do they think when not airing new episodes of avatar, it wont get more popular when they delay with airing for almost a half a year.

    Its just taking Avatars and Nicks raiting down.

    Jerkbender, my cable company, as well as TVguide AND Nick.com have done that a LOT. My DVR has episodes of Drake & Josh and Spongebob when Avatar was supposed to air.

    Nick is already running commercials for Spongebobs on the 11th at 8:30 (and they're listed on tvguide.com as well). I think Avatar starts back on the 18th.

    yeah but in that time that it is on hiatus, all the x-treme fans will be buying merch. from all the avatar sponsers

    Nick is indeed showing an Avatar episode @ 8:30 Eastern on 4-4-08, but I couldn't get a description...........

    Yeah. My tv says that it's new but I am almost positive that it's wrong. Also, if Avatar does start on the 18th would that mean they are airing WAT or just repeats of season 3 episodes for 10 weeks. I wonder if they are aware of how much the DVD will have to be pushed if this happens. If volume 3 comes out before the episodes air, I will have given up all hope of Nick and it's stupid airdate choices.

    In US terms it's been 4 months since Day of Black Sun. I wish YTV would just release us the episodes and be done with it. Also, Avatar is now not airing tomorrow night, iCarly is in it's timeslot and they're rerunning Goodbye Zoey afterwards. Next week is a Spongebob special which only lasts 30 minutes and Avatar's timeslot could still be free, but noooo! After "Pest of the West" is an old Spongebob special. So We're still uncertain when Avatar is coming back at this point.

    I need Avatar now! All these stupid "Nicktoons" are getting in the way. Nothing on Nick is any good anymore. There are plenty of examples of bad shows (coughBackattheBarnyardcough) that are always airing reruns when there is plenty of room for Avatar! This is Nick's #1 show and they are not showing any effort to air even reruns anymore.

    i'm sure avatar is still airing. tv guides usually arent true and screw up a lot. it's never reliable. i think the new episode for the US will be airing tomorrow, but you never know. it might not be a new episode, but im sure there WILL be an episode.

    tomorrow is my limit, I've been waiting for this episode so long i've started to forget the details of last episode. I don't know what the heck Nick YTV, anyone who controls this is thinking but they've technically destoryed their highest rated show in the last 2 years... seriously how much bull do they expect EVERYONE to put up with? and it's like they spit in your face by giving that slot to "spongebob".

    4 months now? and you guys are still calling that a break? know what else usually takes around 4ish months? season breaks.

    Seriously the fact that they waited so long in itself will make ppl feel like they are expecting so much more when it does air and thus they will be greatly let down.

    If nick's job was to get rid of avatar fans, perfect plan of action.

    Seriously, if it doesn't air this friday... I give up i wont check on it anymore... why bother.

    i know aye, im starting to feel like that, its like when heroes got put on hiatus i think it lost alot of its viewers because they waited too long and by the time it came people were just fed up. but seriously avatar won the most popular show and they dont air it? wtf is with that aye.

    oh well when avatra loses ALOT of viewers due to bein put on hiatus WAY TOO MUCH. then maybe nick will learn their lesson. i mean seriously ever since season 2 finale theyve been puttin avatra on hoiatus at the most inconvienient times

    It's not airing tonight.

    First, as I posted before, TVguide.com now has iCarly listed. You'll notice that when Avatar was listed, the "New" in red was not there, nor was there a description. This means that Avatar is what's supposed to be on, but they have no verification.

    Second, they've been advertising the new Spongebob for next Friday since Tuesday or so. If Avatar was returning, they'd be advertising it every 15 minutes.

    Assuming it comes back on the 18th, I'd expect ads to start appearing on the 8th or 9th. After a hiatus like this, I'm sure they're going to give it a big return.
