    Thanks for the information. Frankly, this seems incredibly ill advised on Nick's part to treat this series with such recklessness. I think I will buy the DVD and wait patiently for July. Thanks to everyone who responded, as I now understand what has happened,

    I wouldn't touch the DVD if I were you. That's exactly what they want. Make the fans so impatient that they'll buy ANY dvd with new episodes on it to tide them over. DVD sales increase, they get more money from treating the best show they have AND the fans of it like cr*p. I wouldn't fall for it. Why is it that my 2 favorite shows of all time are on networks that don't know how to run themselves? Avatar stops mid season with NO info on when the next episodes are coming out for MONTHS AND MONTHS and on the other channel, my favorite show keeps taking one, two or even THREE week breaks after every THREE OR FOUR EPISODES! The season is already filmed, so there's no excuse for that.

    Sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree with you. We all should still buy/rent the DVD for the sake of supporting the show. It would also show Nick exactly what kind of a fandom they're dealing with, which I think is the whole reason behind this. Nick probably wants to see how big of a fanbase Avatar has so they can estimate how successfull the live action movies will be. I say we give them their answer, loud and clear.

    It still sucks though waiting this long, fortunately I can watch the 1ste season again which makes you realize how much they have grown...

    Hey guys, i have a question:
    I know that boiling rock part 1 and 2 aired at some convention and i managed to watch both episodes however, there are clips of avatar 317 (really bad quality ones) on youtube and was wondering if 316 and 317 aired as well?

    Actually, Boiling Rock wasn't aired at the convention, it came out on DVD. At the convention they showed the first 7 minutes of 317.

    And no, they showed nothing from 316 except for some pictures of a young Katara and Sokka.

    Oh ya the first seven minutes of 317 is what i saw and assumed that the episode has aired. The problem is the convention uploads by avatar fans are normally terrible quality. Thanks for your help!

    Exactly, if we got Boiling Rock from the convention it would've been camera phone quality. It's DVD quality.

    Now that Nick aired that commercial I doubt they're gonna change their minds again so Avatar isn't gonna air until July. 2 and 1/2 months until Avatar returns.

    Look at the silver sandwich side, at least Nick won't go 'sorry, change of plan, you're waiting until 2010' they have to air it in July now, no later.
