FINALLY!

Our good friend Jeff Sampson, a diehard Avatard himself, just posted an article at BuddyTV.com OFFICIALLY outlining the Avatar schedule as it will return to Nickelodeon to air all the remaining episodes in full for certain.

Here are some points of interest:

1. Yes, all the remaining S3 episodes will actually air on Nick as opposed to being released straight to DVD.

2. Nick officially stated that July 14th will begin the Avatar run and ALL 10 remaining episodes will be aired.

3. 'The Western Air Temple' will air July 14th and each night the next consecutive Avatar episode will air leading to the series finale.

4. The series finale will be a two-hour spectacular including the four part 'Sozin's Comet' episodes.

I realize that some of this is not new news as much of this had been speculated or rumored to be true but as BuddyTV.com has elected to publish this article it goes without saying Sampson got his information straight from Nickelodeon and now there can be at last rejoicing as the airdates are official.

OMG, it's slightly more than a month!

Well, this is it, we are getting closer to the ending, i think the schedguel will be more like
14- WAT
15- TFM
16- BR 1&2
17- TSR
18- TEIP
*25- ZOMFG SUPER SPECIAL AWSOME FINALE!!!!!

* can't be sure, i suppose they wait to the next friday to end it, or maybe they could air it on saturday 19 instead, but i can't really be sure.

It just disrespects the show. And normally the anticipation is taken away a little but. (But with months of lack of episodes, I'm not completely sure that's an issue.)

They did it for Danny Phantom and had the episodes out of order or something(amirite?).

But again.. The prospect of new episodes outweighs this fact.

That system is the norm in the UK. It's extremely rare that they show new episodes on a weekly basis here. Everything is on a daily basis. The only exception I can think of is (ironically) Avatar 201-209, which they showed weekly.

I don't think it's a big deal.

Well, we finally have something to put on the calendar. I do find it ironic that they take ten months to air the first half of the season, then one week to air the second. But we've had plenty of time to rage about that (and rage we have; spectacularly so) I'm just looking forward to the resolution.

Sigh... Finally, some airdates. Nick sure loves it's "10 Straight..." set ups, doesn't it? :p Only this time, it's 10 straight days. It's too bad it had to turn out like this... But, the fact the show really is coming back is overwhelming.
