Wow, yeah. It was so weird, in a creepy way. The fake smiles looked like they were just painted on. ::shudders::

Whoa, I need to know what happens! It's so freaky and exciting... I know, mean, but I don't feel bad for Jet, he was going to wipe out an entire village! His (hypnotis?) might keep another village safe!

Toph had the best lines in this episode, and her and Katara looked so pretty in their costumes!

It felt more like brave new world to me (with the caste
system and all), but it does go well with the original premise of the Stepford
Wives being brainwashed rather then androids (gynoids), 1984 is another good similar.

I wonder what the re-educated Jet will be like, maybe we will see him planting
    flowers and smiling uncontrollably.

There seems to be a caste system in the city, but the person who lives across the street from the gang worked his way up into that area.

Man that episode scared me. Poor Jet. It amost makes me wish the fire nation had gotten through the outer wall. They seem sane compared to the people in charge at Ba Sing Sei.

Yeah, im definately gonna have to agree.?? After seeing the condition of Ba Sing Sei, it seems like it would have been good for the fire nation to break through, sorry to say it.?? This is probably the first time im for the war of the fire nation, and they atleast arent sensoring their people like the Earth King is.?? Oh, and KING BUMI, where are you!?!?!?? he should be here, helping along, but then again, i wonder if he knew about the capital city's freakyness...

The city falling to the Fire Nation might not do the people any good.?? It would only be like switching from one dictatorship to another one that might be worse, and the citizens of Ba Sing Se would be stuck having to chose the lesser of the two evils.?? For the oppressed population, their best shot at freedom would be to get rid of the jerk in charge of the military, and it will take a focused Team Avatar with the help of others, to rally them all together.
