Oh, and yes, there is a reason that I put a small character like Meng as Hinata. It's because Meng has a huge crush on Aang, that he is completaly oblivious to, just like how Hinata has a crush on Naruto, and he is completaly oblivious. Also, Meng stalks Aang, just like Hinata stalks Naruto XDDDDDD

I used a reference from the manga for most of them, but I didn't have a reference for Sasuke, Haku, Zabuza, Temari, or Neji. T___T So they look sort of weird.

In case you can't tell: (from left to right)
Jet- Zabuzza
Haru- Haku
Zuko- Sasuke
Mai- Tenten
Azula- Itachi
Suki- Temari
Sokka- Shikamaru
Ty Lee- Ino
Katara- Sakura
Aang- Naruto

Even if you watch the anime, you won't recognize the outfits unless you read the Japanese manga."
*The characters in the show/book have undergone a??nice little??time-skip. Well, the manga anyway. The show is still, as some would say (not neccessarily me), "Trapped in filler hell."

That's what Sasuke looks like in Part 2? Somewhat? Weird. For me, Sasuke=Blue coat with Uchiha fan. Now, who for Sai? Who for Orochimaru? I don't think Ozai would work...

Actually if you see that last link (seriously you should see them). This is anime, not Power Rangers, there is actually depth and??more than one major??big meanie bad bad??villian guy. ..Yeah.

Yeah, but he's up there. If we discount the fillers, we have the rest of the Akatsuki, and various henchmen, Danzo, and some other people who I'm forgeting. Oro was part of the Akatsuki once, and for a while he had a treaty/truce/thingy with Danzo.

they're so similar, yet not at all. Both shows have alot of characters and many personalities, so there is inevitably going to be characters that are like each other...

I know some people on this thread are bound to like Avatar better seeing how we're on a Avatar Thread.I just wanted to point out the similairties I DIDN'T SAY THEY WERE THE SAME!!THEY ARE DIFFERENT!! I like Avatar & Naruto equally and for different things.
Avatar has??spectacular fights, which we rarely have to wait for; and??with less talking because its easy to understand,??plus its funnier.
Naruto has more in depth fights some of which are truly mind blowing and its more mature than Avatar, because it deals with death and terrible pasts.
They will become simular once Naruto gets to Part 2

I hate naruto, by the way if you???re a nartuo fan you can download all the way up to like episode 160+ now (subtitled) and it still does not end!

Oh wow, a long-running anime series, that's uh, really something. Come to think of it, Simpsons have had quite some episodes too. Yeah, so uh that how a "What similarities do you see" thread thingie turns into a "Do you like this show or not" thread thingie. ..Yeah.

The main difference with Avatar and Naruto is that I watched 11 episodes of Avatar and decided I would watch it to the end and try to appreciate the story it told and weather through the midseason slumps to watch the hopefully satisfying conclusion. With Naruto I watched 11 episodes and my brain began hemmoraging and tasted metal for a week afterwards. It's that terrible.

Well that's just how anime's are, they make it that long...besides avatar is a (supposed or planned to be) 60 episode cartoon so yeah...

naruto is not going to end for a while, this is all thanks to the classic mangas...dragon ball lasted half the time simpsons did and they made more episodes than the simpsons (not right now though)

look at the anime doraimon (sp?) it has 2000 episodes and its similar to the simpsons...

In japan, avatar will only last for a year and a month or two because they dont have seasons that they based their shows on so yeah.

full metal alchemist is 52 episodes, eureka seven is 50, some other animes which lasted for only a year or less that i cant rememvber...
