I think the trailer gave away her death. When it shows Zuko falling and Katara pulling him in, it shows someone else in the background that they let fall. The armor and hair look alot like Azula's.

this was before the comet arrives. and she's alive after the comet arrives. she didn't die on that scene

Yea. She couldn't die then because her hair is still intact.

Isn't it weird how the Ozai-Ursa kids are the complete opposites of the parent they look most like?

You know.. I don't think that Ursa and Azula are that different from each other. Both will do anything to keep what's important to them. In Ursa's case, it was Zuko. And in Azula's case, it was her status or power. They really are pretty similar.

Ursa wasn't a perfect mother. Sure she cared deeply for Zuko, but she struggled to have the same love for Azula. She even called Azula a monster. Now, I have nothing against Ursa, in fact, I like her almost as much as I like Azula (which is a lot). So that's just something to think about.

i def. agree. i think ursa mightve neglected her. in that case, u cant blame azula for being cruel (tho im not saying wut she does is excusable) . she was never touched by ursa's goodness and so she became very bitter and sought love from her hateful father. i think deep down inside, she wishes that ursa loved her as much as zuko. maybe we'll get flashbacks. we dont really noe much from azula's perpspective. im dying to noe wuts going to happen to her.

and im just gonna bring ozai in too. maybe he turned out this way cuz it seemed that azulon didnt really care abt him, and more for iroh. this whole "favorite child" def. brings abt problems

I wanna stick up for Ursa. We have no evidence that she treated her bad. We only say Azula shoving her feet in her mouth and Ursa scolding her for it. They might have had some hugs off-screen when Azula wasn't being mean. Remember when Azula said "can u make Zuko play with us?..." She's all "awwww that's a great idea."
We have evidence that Ursa favored Zuko because Azula was a monster. Ursa seemed like a nice woman from the flash backs, and I personally think it was all Azulas fault. It's in her nature, she took after her dad. Thankfully, Zuko took after his mom.

Maybe azula became a monster because ursa neglected her. of course this is all speculation. In zuko alone she like wut? 9. we don't noe wut happened those previous years. We def. need some "azula alone" stuff as someone said.

I wonder wut twist bryke have in store for ursa. Ooo maybe just maybe wen she left she found out she was preg. And had another kid that no one noes abt!!! !! Heh yea I watch soap operas so these are the twists I think of lol although the whole zuko roku thing was VERY soap opera ish

    I smell some crack-shipping! Ursa/?

I personally want Urskoda in the future.
LOL guys i meant that ursa had ozai's kid but didnt realize it until she left but wutever hahaha does anyone noe katara and sokka's mom's name?

No, but in a fanfiction, I gave her the name Pamuya, which is, I think an Eskimo name meaning "water moon"

if the fall is at BR, and not at WAT, she would have fallen at the lake surrounding the island where the prison is at

In my blog, I posted an essay I wrote a few days ago on one aspect to Azula having a moral crisis. It brings up a possible cause to Azula's apparent loss of insanity (it's still speculation that she goes crazy, though).

i read it and i totally agree. i think everyone is born good and innocent. can u ever imagine a baby to b evil? impossible! but enviornemtn changes everything. take hitler for instance, prob the most evil man ever. if he wasnt always beaten by his dad all the time and had lots of ppl who loved him, he cudve been a diff. person.

Babies can be sort of evil. I mean, they kick their mothers, from the inside! XD

And PP, I read your blog, and I agree so much with what you said, it hurts. The Roku genetics are very much likely to kick in when Azula faces some sort of mental dilemma.

Sozin didn't even seem to be evil at first, but slowly he changed (mostly when Roku broke his heart and rejected his love, Rozin FTW) We don't know what Sozin's family was like, and we can only assume that whole psycho gene was started by Sozin himself. He changed later on, while Azula seemed to be like that from a very early age, because of the way her family was.

Now, we don't know why Iroh was able to avoid being like Sozin. Maybe because he was possibly born with an ability to look beyond what others can see (the ability to go to the Spirit World).

I hope all that crap I just said made sense; I was just rambling.

I do agree no one is born evil. Except for maybe this guy.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stewie_Griffin

Not to mention his half brother, he too has mommy issues. Maybe he and Azula can be theorpy together.

All kidding aside, this will be excited to see what becomes Azula. I also felt somewhat sorry for her since the beginning of season 2.

Stewie actually really isn't that evil anymore. A lot of people complain about that, but I like Stewie better now, he doesn't seem as two-dimensional.

Anyway, people can change, and Azula is only 14/15.

i was scrolling through this and realized something when i looked at the screenshots myself. It's about Azula but not about character development. Is that her falling in the background?

Just wondering if anyone else thinks that's her dying.

They're not going to talk about Iroh's wife in this series. Someone asked that at the panel, they even asked if she died in childbirth. Bryke sort of shrugged if off and said they haven't really gotten into that yet. Or something like that, I can't remember what they said.

And Illah probably isn't going to be talked about. But who knows.

She's not going to die in this scene (if she dies at all) because her hair is still uncut. My bet is that she gets rescued by the Gaang, um.. I'm sure what happens in between, but she starts having some issues about that, loses sleep, and has a moral dilemma, not unlike Zuko's. Eventually hallucinating Ursa. But that's just a theory.
