    Hi I'm new and I was wondering is the show Avatar: The Last Airbender over, on hiatus or whatever? I just need to know, sorry if I'm being a n00b I'm new also watching Avatar too.

    The show is on hiatus. It will be returning for its final episodes on July 14.

    The reason he asks is because the last episode to air on TV was Day of Black Sun, but the next 4 episodes were released early onto DVD, so they're available to buy.

    No, the rest of Season 2 and some of Season 3 is on DVD.

    No, it's on hiatus. Because Nickelodeon's the Dumbest Network.

    My advice to you newbie.. is to probably wait till it shows on youtube why!? Because there's only 5 episodes left that they gotta air until Avatar is over.
