is the earth king in the gaang now?

    do you think that the earth king (and bosco) will join the gaang and go with them to defeat the fire lord, or will he be left somewhere so that they can continue their journey? i personally think that it would be a little too weird to have an adult in the gaang, even if he is a hopeless whimp, but in the season finale, he was with them riding away on appa. what do you think?

    I don't see him being much help battle-wise.
    But where do you just drop off a king and his pet bear? Maybe hang out with king Bumi? (once they get Omashu back)

    I'll be interested to see that in Season 3.

    No, the creators have said Katara, Sokka, and Aang will be the only ones to face the firelord. Plus the Earth King is useless.

    I'm sure they are going to bring him the the earth kingdom refugees that escaped from Omashu... why would he become part of the Gang. This would have been better if it had been listed in the Ask a Question, Get an Answer II?? thread.

    Uh wait. Ok to the person that says only Sokka, Katara, and Aang will face the fire lord, what about Toph. And no way is the Earth King in the Gaang!!!

    Yea, I read that same article, some one (pooldude possibly) posted a link to the article in another place, but I don't remeber where, I was thinkning what was up with no Toph when I read that, but maybe they just want to have the final climatic moment go to the original threesome we came to know and love.
