I was wondering if the Avatar is an American cartoon or Japanimation? Because in the episodes there are Chineese letters all-over, but the idea is kind of American. Like Captain Planet, the four elements (They add the heart). Fantastic four, if I'm not mistaken is american too, although the rubber boy (Ha ha) is kinda watter, and the invisible girl is... hmmmm .. air?.. ha ha. Also if one watches the cartoons, when they talk, they look as if they were "speaking" english. In the other hand, the "panorama" looks like they were walking in China. So I'm like cofused here!. While it is Japan animation, it is NOT anime. Many people argue about this. Some consider it to be anime, but it is done in america, so maybe you would like to consider it american-anime.
