Is it just me, or is Katara kinda boy-crazy?

    I mean, think about it: She has shown at least a small attraction to nearly every male character in the 14-17 age range that has appeared at least for a short time. To name a few:

    1.) Aang

    2.) Zuko

    3.) Jet

    4.) Haru

    5.) Teo

    I rest my cast. What are your thoughts?

    Well now that your cast has been rested... (O_o, btw) I am going to say this:
    Aang? The most canon of them all.
    Zuko? NO. This is just Zutara's fans affected your subconcious. When has she ever shown affection for Zuko? Never. And don't count the ending for Chapter 15, because it was clearly playful sarcasm.
    Jet? Fine. I'll give you that one.
    Haru? Highly debatable, but acceptable, too.
    Teo? One notch below completely ridiculous. She treated him as a friend and nothing more; end of story.

    So she has shown attraction to three guys in the course of thirty-four episodes which translates to roughly 748 minutes in real time and about 5 months in the Avatar world. Not that bad, if you ask me.

    first of all, this would probably be better in the Character Relationship thread.

    Second of all:

    Katara is not boy crazy. The boys are Katara crazy.

    1. Aang=well duh they belong together forever!!!

    2. Zuko= when did she EVER have or show ANY form of attraction to Zuko? When she whooped his @$$ in Seige of the North?

    3. Jet= he's a good looking guy and she and Aang's relationship hadn't uh blossomed yet, not to mention he's one of those 'dashing' guys. 4. Haru liked KATARA, Katara never had any attraction to him. At all. She just helped him out.

    5. Teo=are you kidding? This is like with Zuko she never showed any form of attraction to him. katara is naturally friendly!!!

    She is like most modern Teenagers, Most hot girls I know are friendly with more than one boy evry day, It doesnt make tem boy Crazy

    Season 1, Katara got the love attention. Now its Sokka's turn. Besides, Katara is a teenage girl who was locked away in the South Pole with no other boys her ages besides her brother. You can't blame her for being boy crazy. Anyway, Katara has only been boy crazy about Jet.
    Aang is up for debate, too me it seems like a sibling love from her point of view.
    She sympathized with Haru but its not really certain is she romantically liked him.
    Jet was a crush. He was charming, handsome, and charismatic. So of course she would fall for the flirt.
    There is no love between her and Zuko, its all wishul thinking from Zutarians. She has NEVER shown any affection for him.
    Teo...What the heck is this about?

    No, because it has nothing to do with relationships. It has to do with Katara's personality. Although according to everyone else, it's just me.

    1.) Aang - okay, we see hints of her starting to like him. but they're small hints.

    2.) Zuko??- she's never shown interest in him like that. there's a lot of zuko+katara fans though so maybe that's why you might think so.

    3.) Jet - okay, yeah at the beginning.

    4.) Haru - hhmm, maybe. it could be that she just saw him as a friend.

    5.) Teo - definitely just friends.

    She hasn't really shown affection at Zuko, but she did offer to help him after Iroh was hit at the end of The Chase.

    Katara isn't boycrazy. She may like Aang, and she may have liked Jet, but that's it. She was friendly to Haru and to Teo. She doesn't like Zuko, but she's willing to "let bygones be bygones" / "live and let live" if he is as well.

    Completely agreed.

    The reason why Sokka and Katara like opposite genders is because in their tribe, there wasn't really anyone else besides themselves and little 7 year olds. Oh and old ladies.

    Nope, she had an unfair advantage.

    Little Mary Sue..... HATE HER!!!!!!

    It just took Zuko one blow to take her down in the morning, at night when the moon was nearly full, she barely beat him.
    And if you had just went through some icy and freezing catacombs, I'd be pretty tired.
    And same thing with walking in a freezing cold blizzard.

    And he was still able to take down Zhao, who isn't a pushover.
