    Firebending-Lightning

    Earthbending-Metalbending-Sandbending

    Waterbending-Bloodbending-Icebending

    Airbending-...?

I was looking forward to an advanced form of airbending? Did one exist?

...Or perhaps they're saving that secret for another story...

    Thoughts?

my guess is temperature bending... but airbenders don't have a lethal move anyhow, so it's not that important

Technically, making tornados is just another use for Airbending. Like making Ice is to Waterbending.

I know this thread should be ended, but I feel as though I should reply to this.

Of course tornadoes is another use of airbending, bloodbending is another use of waterbending, same applies for plantbending. Metalbending is another form of earthbending, all the powers they do relate back to one of the 4 elements, and without it couldn't be used.

Airbenders, can fly, and not only fly, but fly with ease, they also have superspeed, so that's pretty good.

im guessing since all the other elements depend on air there can't be a different form of it. water comes from air, fire needs air to survive, and earth is created by compaction and weathering, by air.

Q: If fire has lightning, earth has metal and water has blood, what does air have?

A: Nothing, deal with it. Plus metal isn't the advanced earthbending, only toph can do it, the advanced earthbending is sticking to walls, i know, it's lame, deal with it.

that's a pretty bad answer , I'm just trying to use common sense here so, if only one person in the whole world can do something (though Bumi's shown doing it too), how would that make it any less advanced?

SO WHAT if only 1 or 2 earthbenders can bend metal... Only two waterbenders can bend blood and only a handful of firebenders can lightingbend, so far only about 3. not even the avatars can do it. sticking to walls is not a advanced earthbending at all, hundreds of dai lee agents can do it... the advanced skills are reserved for 3 or less people so far in the series, so how can earthbendings be used by hundreds?
