It still seems disrespectful and nosy. It shouldn't be asked its a very personal thing and you don't want to ruin Mike's day.

If he did not desire for people to ask him who "Dante DiMartino" is, then he should not have dedicated an episode to him. I am tempted to fly to NYC and purchase a ticket solely to ask him this question.
