    You people are newbies to reality aren't you? what hallucinogenic drug comes from cacti? Answer: mescaline. Its that simple it was not alcohol, shrooms or LSD! KingAtticus: Yes ethanol is used in cough syrup, cough drops, whats your point?

    No, Cactus Juice is used for certain alcoholic beverages. My father has a 20 year old shirt that says "Cactus Juice Makes Me Loose" When he watched2 the desert, he laughed his head off... and yes, he is also suffering from AWS, but he has a job, so it doesn't matter...

    Dude,I took Bontany last year.I know what's in cactus juice.I'm just pulling everyone's leg. If cactus juice parodied beer and wine,there would be bars,then banning and then bootlegging.Maybe Sozin was 'drunk' when he started the war. O_o

    Almost anything can be fermented, and Agave is almost a cactus and is the source of tequila and mezcal, but you can't just drink a cactus and get drunk, you have to fermented and distill it. Mescaline on the other hand all you need to do is eat the cactus strait, or if there is enough water in it: drink it right out of the cactus.

    I just wanted to see if that was the right stuff.

    Because once it makes contact with the air it evaporates at room temperature, much like dry ice.

    I hate the stuff. Although it's a tad tastier than plain old cactus.

    This is coming from a guy who likes fried alligator's tail and has eaten cured armadillo meat. It tastes like bacon.

    ITs not like a Acohlic drink ok. People don't have illusions when drunk. Getting Druged up can give one self illusions. And I live in Arizona and if you want to try catus juice try pricley pare catus juice. Its made from the fruit that grows on pricley pare catus.
