Is anyone as pathetic as me?

    I have this obsession with Zuko. If I could be in the cartoon and have my own character, I would SO want to be with Zuko. Even though this is rather impossible and it makes me sound desperate...Pssssshhhhht.

    Anyway, with the season finale, did anyone see a kind of connection between Katara and Zuko? Other than make me insane with jealousy, it got me thinking about the relationship between Aang and Katara - it's not going anywhere...It makes me want to punch a wall or something. Bah!

    As much as I hear: "Aang and Katara love each other!", I still don't believe that Katara likes Aang in the way that Aang likes her.

    Well, considering that Katara seems to regard Aang as a brother...Ahem.

    I'm all for the whole "Katara and Zuko" hookup thing going on...I just wish that I WAS KATARA.

    As much as I know there is an abiding 'love' between Aang and Katara I would agree with another poster and say I don't think the love they share may necessarily lead to a 'ride off into the sunset' type relationship.

    The heros and heroines of epic tales rarely get to enjoy a normal life or have normal relationships like regular people.

    Take Frodo and Sam in LOTR. (Lord of the Rings) Sam went back to the shire after facing the Middle Earth's version of the??'Fire Lord' but Frodo couldn't go back. He was changed and never the same again having gone through the whole 'destroy the ring' quest. A life in the shire with a wife and a couple of hobbit kids was not going to happen for him like it could for Sam.??Frodo was different and could never go back.

    Aang is a monk and he is the avatar. It may be??that no matter how much he wants a love relationship with Katara, his path may in fact lead??him in an entirely different direction whether he likes it or not.

    I do have to say as well that homoepathic healer 'Song' in a previous episode tried to touch Zuko's scar but he stopped her rather abruptly.

    Katara is the ONLY person who Zuko has allowed that close to him and to touch him so intimately. Very interesting indeed.

    ???????? Good catch on Zuko stopping Song??but letting Katara touch his scar. That does suggest that at least Zuko has grown more accepting of his scar or he might have some hidden feelings for Katara. Of course, it could be the creators just messing with us too. lol

    The parrots have missed seeing Lisa31468 around, glad to have crossed paths this time around.

    I agree with the Katara/Zuko point. I still think that Katara loves Aang as a sibling, but w/e
    (Also, decoder rings sound very cool. I would join??that club??)
    So, approximately how long do you think it will take for rabid Kataang fans to notice this thread and point out all the reasons why "Kataang is the be-all-end-all of ships" or something? (no offense to Kataang shippers )

    Kataang sucks. It will bring the end of the world. Just like Tokka. Celebrate the joys of Taang and Zutara.

    Pssssssssshhhhhhht. I never said it was JUST Zuko. My list is plenty longer than that, my dear...

    And I think that Zuko is indeed showing more emotion lately. It could just be the writers having a power trip, or they could be trying to develop Zuko as a more of a round character, with many sides. I think that if Zuko ever has a real relationship, it should WITH ME. But realistically speaking, of course, Katara would be the candidate with my vote.

    (And that fan club - I think that would awesome! I would so totally join it. ^.^)

    yes but u have to remember that he might have just wanted his scar heal. she was goiong to heal it so he might have just wanted his scar healed thats all
