Fire and water are linked to the sun and moon, earth and air are linked to the person. Watch "Bitter Work" for a more descriptive explanation. But basically, fire and water are linked to the sun and moon, and earth and air are representatives to a person. I may be mistaken however.

in nights water benders become strong, in days, fire benders becomes powerfull.

water or fire, they losing powers in a time of day.if the earth and air, linked by person, are they strong every time?

if they are,why the air benders defeated?

Waterbenders and firebenders get advantages during their favored times of day. Earth and air all depend on the inner strength of the bender and not the time of day.

If there is air, an airbender can fight. If there is earth, and earthbender can fight.
If for some reason that there is no air or no earth, they cannot fight and are left vulnerable.

If Waterbenders are strong during a full moon, than firebenders must be stronger during the summer...or at high noon.

I would like to see Zhao return, however minor his return would be.

But there is always atleast some air...([b]Spoiler:[b])Like when they were underwater, in the SOTF trailer, Aang still made a air bubble to protect them all, w/o any air. So are airbenders never vulnerable?

Earth and Air work by the availability of the element.

Airbenders were defeated because of relentlessness and overmanned fire army

Each element has its disadvantages. Earth needs earth/metal (in Toph's case), Water needs some form of water, and Air needs air obviously. Fire, though, is less needy. But from The Firebending Masters we learned it also requires a purpose, per say. I guess firebending is the most convenient, but the most dangerous.

You do realize that none of those people are still here right?
