I don't know if anyone has done a forum like this before... but has anyone ever wondered what???s going to happen to Iroh's character know that Makoto Iwamatsu has passed away?

i believe he has already passed on for a little while now, and they got another person that sounds similiar to mako (if you listen to iroh in "Tales of Ba Sing Se", Iroh sounds different)

It has been confirmed (at least I think it has) that they have gotten a replacement for Iroh's voice. He has studied under Mako and they say that he sounds just like Mako. But in "Tales of Ba Sing Se" they had a little snippet of a different voice of Iroh during the soccer scene. It sounded a lot different from Mako's, but I'm not sure if that's the same guy who is going to replace him. Hope this helps.

I was in the middle of business meeting, big deska nd suits and all, and I am on the board looking up info for the trailer for "The Earth King" (no, have not found it.)

Back to the topic at hand. Not likely to happen, but I would like to see Iroh's plot line go as such in Season 3

Iroh and Aang venture into the Fire Nation, on their way to take out the FireLord, a sure suicide run. They leave their dear ones behind. Iroh uses his White Lotus ties to get through the Fire Nation.

Katara, Toph, Zuko and Sokka, Aapa and Momo trail after them, trying to catch up.

Sadly, I think we will see the end of Iroh's character somewhere in season 3. Right now Zuko still needs him, but eventually he's gonna have to lose the cruch...poor baby.???? Probably somewhere in the middle, and it will likely solidify somehow Zuko's hatred of the Fire Lord and help facilitate his switch to the light side of the Force.?? Sigh...goodbye Iroh, you served your purpose well.
