So far, we've heard but a few lines of the new voice actor for Iroh. The only times I've heard of were in "The Tale's of Ba Sing Se", during the part when he was with the group of kids, and in the most recent episode, "The Earth King", during the part when he offers Zuko fresh water. There might possibly be other instances, but these two were the ones that I was able to catch. In your opinion, what do you think of Iroh's soon-to-be new voice? For me, I think its pretty good. If the new voice had been Iroh's voice for the whole entire series, I think it would've fit quite well. But then again, Mako did such a good job, (sigh), poor Mako . Well nonetheless, tell me what you think of the new voice.

I think it sounds bad to an ear that's listening for it. But the people who don't know any better might all miss it.

i heard ppl say that the new voice actor was someone who had studied under mako and sounded exactly like mako, but it was pretty noticeable for me in the earth king when zuko was sick, and i wasnt really even paying attention at that moment. but??this voice sounds a lot more like mako than the one in tales of ba sing se, which i seriously hope were 2 different voices.

They're just wheening us off Mako like do babies with breast milk...a lil bit of something different...then a lil more...then more...and by the time season 3 rolls round the new Iroh's voice will??be in and it won't be " damn what happened to Iroh's voice"...a pretty??wise move on the creators' part

They should kill Iroh instead of ruining his character with some imposter's voice.

I noticed Iroh's voice in Tales of Ba Sing Se but didn't notice it in The Earth King. I hope they use that voice.

Iroh's new voice sounds pretty similar , with the exception of a few speech patterns and vowel pronunciations. (like the "er" of water for instance). As for killing his character off? Its possible, but I don't want to think about it. Maybe he'll stay in his new tea shop in the upper ring of Ba Seng Sei, while Zuko goes off to do other stuff? (like find his mom or help the gaang perhaps??) Or maybe he will just get a new voice actor. He's a pretty pivotal character, and I doubt the creators would just write him out of the show.
