I think that Iroh will start healing by himself, but Zuko will take up on Katara's offer and get her help.

He obviously isn't going to die for a number of reasons.

1. He is too important of a character to be struck down in the middle of the series. He is going to be around all the way??till the finale.

2. Did we all forget about the summary for the Avatar Movie. It said Zuko And Iroh are going to be looking for something so unless Iroh pulls an Obi Wan Kenobi and starts following in his mind than he is going to survive.

3. The scene he shared with Toph and him looking at her and Aang's group showed that he was going to join them. And also that they'd let him.

4. He's Iroh it will take more than a half hearted attack by a second rate villain to kill him off.

But it would be interesting if Zuko showed up and asked for Katara's help but since Iroh is a former General I bet he's been hurt worse during battle and still carried on so he'll be fine.
